Lake County's animal shelter has been inundated with 70 lap dogs seized from an apparent one-time breeding operation.
The confiscated dogs include Japanese Chin, Cavalier King Charles spaniels, dachshunds, Chihuahuas, Jack Russell terriers and a variety of mixed-breed dogs.
I've posted this so maybe the manager of the Bee will get the message. There is a cover up and apparently were not privy or worthy of the whole info. I posted the PD article on the net directly after i read it and help was dispatched to the shelter in the form of blankets and concern. I DON'T WAIT for politicians like Farrington and Brown, they're concerned about Gardening and spending the public's money on purchasing Mt Konocti, Black Forest Gysers Tour etc... while toxic material and chemicals are being placed next to Kelsey creek, a large volume Eco tributary that leads directly to Clearlake. I act and net work and read. Like the (Grapes of Wrath) someone like me is always here...
The Bee couldn't even get the article and comment post in synchronicity. I knew this would happen as to the hasty posting of the Rec Bee New Years eve like the hang over articles that flowed like jetsam and wine.

Thank you for posting the article.

Had we been given the opportunity, we would have applied to adopt one of these dogs.

How does this article, in any way, relate to the thread "Economic concerns raised over Valley Oaks subdivision?" In my humble opinion, stick with the issue. Create a "lap dogs" thread and rap there if you will.

We did read the original article, and posted in the box at the bottom of the screen.

Due to a foul-up at the RB or Topix, it posted here, and the original article could not be accessed.(nor could the original article about the Valley Oaks subdivision)

The original post had absolutely nothing to do with 'Economic concerns raised over Valley Oaks subdivision'. It had to do with the 70 dogs turned over to the County.

If you have a complaint, kindly take it up with the RB or Topix.com .

The error was not intentional, and if you check all the posts, you will see an apology was posted when the mistake was discovered.

Peace.

GOOD FOR THE OWNER of the 70+ dogs! They did the right thing! It is too bad that a couple of the dogs had to be euthanized, but according to the article they were sick and had terminal cancer. At least they are not suffering anymore! And the owner needs to be commended for giving the dogs up and realizing that 70 is WAY TOO MUCH for ANY INDIVIDUAL! Bless them!

Anyone hear about the ski lake? The talk is, that it may not happen, that it is only another paper subdivision? Anyone hear anything different or knows the facts?

I love it when yet another Middletown Business cries that we should shop local when they drive Foreign Cars - specifically a nice 150k Porsche SUV. Yep get it fixed here, no way it is Santa Rosa to the Porsche dealer.
