Instead of liberal instructors only teaching kids the socialist agenda to advance their democratic views, it would help to have a one hour class on crime awareness and observation somewhere in their formative years. It wouldn't take long to teach a child the importance of memorizing a vehicles license plate number when they believe a crime may be in progress. This would allow LE to more easily locate the vehicle and apprehend the possible perpetrator. That policy would help in this case and many others to come.

it's my understanding that the van belongs to a HVL resident whose child goes to CVE and he was just waiting for his kid to get on/off the bus

Pretty detailed description:
quote"White--- having no side windows, such as a panel van, with no business stickers or markings, no roof rack and it had expanded steel caging in the rear windows. He said the driver is described as a white male adult with "medium" skin tone, shaved head and possibly has blue eyes."
if your post is true, please post it as true.
That should also be reported as a follow up in the LCRB
On the immediate it would be pretty easy (and important) for the LCSO to have contacted the parents of the children known to ride that bus to see if they have such a vehicle, at the same time being able to make them aware?
anyway, someone (the teachers probably) have taught the children to be aware enough to watch or seeing this vehicle two times would not have been reported to the school. Kudos to those teachers.
It sounds like the Middletown area, that I know very little about, is doing alot in many different areas to educate their young. Weren't they the ones with a program on respect?
I hope they keep reporting it and it will encourage others?

Agree, that was the first thing I thought when I heard this. This person either lives in HV or was a visitor and knows someone there. You have to give a name to enter and be on that persons list. Should be easy to track down. This article is gone now, can someone give some info on the vehicle? Recently got a recorded message that there was a vehicle in the MT area approaching students. The message did not repeat and I didn't catch the description. I wonder if they are the same? I did catch the last two letters on license plate, they were "H V". I remembered it because it looks like Hidden Valley.
