I feel compelled to ask just why the judge and courts have NOT ordered ALL of Bernard Madoff's assets seized as part of a means to repay those he has devestated financially, and emotionally.
Then, allow him to spend his entire life behind bars..... NO parole. As for his family, I would suggest that they should also be brought before the courts to explain their part in this fraud. His wife surely played a large part in this. Her actions speak volumes.

I am really wondering what greed was worse. That man or the people who would give ANYONE 100% of the assets. That's either greed or lack of thinking for ones self. $$$$$$$ is not the root of all evil people are the root of the evil.

It hurts the most when it comes from a trusted source and you can not do nothing about it while you are watching.

I would love to know who the last investor was, and how much he/she was ripped off for.

Harry Markopolis said it took him about FIVE MINUTES to see that what Madoff claimed about his investments was impossible.

Harry Markopolis should have a high position in our government. He is a VERY valuable person to have on your side. He should be protected and rewarded.

Madoff deserves all he will get. However most all of his investors are still or were people of means who were seeking more without concerns about where it would come from. These investors were not your average factory workers .They run the gambit of diverse influential circles the type that often is unconcerned with the little people.. well welcome to the real world. No doubt dishonesty fraud and corruption needs to be punished severely whether the poor or the rich themselves are scammed but its less painful for the rich when it happens . They always rebound better than the average man or woman because they belong to a different club by which they will be rescued.
