Suozzi has a real opponent this time. And his "Tax Revolution" platform is an absolute joke, since he has done nothing but raise taxes and fees for the past 8 years.

I don't love Tom, but it's insane to think he raised taxes for the hell of it. The sales tax in Nassau has declined, and so has the tax base. In better global economic times, money was misspent, and a disaster was left in the wake. It's time to rebuild and make Nassau great again. Suozzi uses vision to get things done.

Get your head out from up your boss Suozzi's butthole. How much did he pay you in overtime to post this dribble.

His lousy policies and no nothin about the geographics of this County are part of the reason... Go on the road at 9.00 on a Saturday nite... Not what it use to be... How you gonna make money... This County is on the verge of a train wreck, and every budget projection is a real bad quess....Anyone that far off can't know too much !!

The Dem machine will win out... There just don't seem to be enough intelligent voters out there who will get out and get rid of Suozzi.

I'm still laughing at Yatauro's comment, referring to Suozzi as "a greater county executive"! What do they feed those people up in Glen Cove? However, its unfortunate that whomever the GOP puts forward as their candidate, too many people in the county are brainwashed into believing that the local-level democrats are the cure-all (and its funny that their goals are to fix the problems that have come about during their tenure). For as much good that could come from a new face in office, it is almost inevitable that Suozzi will get reelected...and based on the same boring platform and principles that have done nothing for Nassau over the past 8 years...

After the election, I hope Mangano replaces Schmitt as Republican leader of the county legislature.

The Republicans should have a leader with class: not one that looks and acts like Hermann Goring.

If Mangano beats Suozzi, will he also give himself a $70,000. raise during a time of severe fiscal crisis? How did he vote when the legislature gave it's self a raise?

The County Legislators have never gotten a raise since it's creation.

The $70,000 Suozzi raise, though, still a load of crap. Giving back 7% after a 70K raise STILL EQUALS A RAISE
