I am an executive chef and i am goin to patty joe's sat night- 8/1 for dinner it was not a decision based on reviews of any nature regarding food or service, but to see a very good band playing sat nght called johnny zarrow. i will be back in this forum on sunday to give my honest and professional opinion about the food as well as the service .

Restaurants ought to hire "women & men" with experience if they want their restaurants to succeed. I have been in the biz for 28 years & take my biz seriously, whether i am catering a party or working in a restaurant. So many restaurants want these hot chics & dudes that can't even remember to take your order or acknowledge your presence.

Very very poor service and average food at best. Waited to be seated (in an empty dining room) waited to order, waited to be brought our drinks....even waited to get the check. It is as if no training of the staff took place at all. If anything they were trained to have bad attitudes and sour expressions on their faces! I was truly amazed at how poor the experience was in contrast to the nice exterior of the building. It's a shame, but I will never go back and have advised my family and friends to do the same.

Wow I think the Joe in the name should come back!!! went last night, waited to be seated not due to no tables. We sat and waited 10 minutes for our waitress. She said are you ready to order and I replied could we have some water please she replied are you ready to order. So we did... We over heard another waitress talking about specials... we were never told... I order a stuffed blue cheese burger. The blue cheese was on top of the burger. I ordered it rare it came raw no sear. We order a side of croquettes the waitress came back and said they were sold out... At 6:45 pm LOL. Everything on the menu was the exact opposite that was served. a Petite Filet came sliced.. with a sauce that was not on the menu. I really doubt it was a petite filet as they always come unsliced. To make matters worse we have been in the bathroom for the entire day with upset stomachs I suggest a new menu, better service and better food. The burgers said 1/2 pound they were 1/4 pound. I will not return and have informed the locals here to not go.. Don't waste your money or your stomach!!!

This is what happens when you have no one in charge of the staff. I have heard nothing but bad things about the food & service. The waitresses must check their orders before taking them out of the kitchen. I have been in the business for a long time & went there for a job & was told they wanted a younger staff. lmao...I am 44 & could run circles around them, if not teach them all a thing or two. That is what happens when the miserable Anderson deli owner opens a restaurant. He is miserable at the deli. I went in there for a sandwich one day and overheard him being very nasty to an elderly man. Yep, I put in my two cents & took the gentleman for a slice of pizza.
