Is it ETHICAL for these boys to pose as cops and then go rob someone- And what about the persuit by the cops - How ETHICAL would it have been it someone had been hurt or killed when they drove through a street hitting cars, fences, and trees??? ETHICAL you say, hey?

The police should have followed the men to the site so they could have busted the dealers at the same time. Two for one?

Reporters will say they don't want confusion between other people with the same or similiar names. This is why they will post name, age, and address of someone charged; in an attempt to prevent a wrong person from being associated with the offense.

Unless the release identifies a sex crime victim or a juvenile it's a matter of public record.

The police should have a secret hit man team to save the state the cost of trials, appeals, prison, rehabilitation, and parole.

In certain cases I would volunteer and pay for my own bullets.

hey are they legal citizens of this country....probably not....so how about this....put their asses in jail...deport their families and deport them when time is served...sending them back to their country on a wooden raft...set adrift in the middle of the ocean...and let them find their way back home....but just imagine...if their families get deported, that will probably be half of Queens gone...hahahhahahhahhahhahhaha hhahahhahah

Why not give their addresses, you don't think if people wanted to know where they lived, they can find out easy enough...and the shame on their families...they are the criminals not the victims....all victims should be protected....screw the criminals...they bastards and they have no rights...and their families should suffer the shame and humiliation also....maybe these ass wipes will think twice before the act...anyway...send the bastards back to their country...

what really pissed the cops off was the trail of empty coffee cups and donut wrappers the suspects left behind. When apprehended the traces of jelly and sugar on thier faces confirmed that they had thier men.Why in the hell they didnt let them go through with thier plan then they could have arrested everybody dealers included

i cant believe that you feel you have the right to talk about people in this manner. i know that what they did was wrong but for you to be ignorant enough to say that they should be sent back to their country is insane. if you had any type of formal education, then you would know that these people and their families do have rights. why do you think there is something called the 'criminal justice system'?
You make me sad knowing that there are people out there who think the way you do this day in age.

FF JACK - I never bothered to get the 9 - so while you are at the gun shop will you pick up some .38 specials for me?

Ethics on reporting the address of the bad guys.

It all depends on whose Ox is being gored.

When my son in law was arrested the DA handed out a press release with his name and date of birth. This was a former cop who had not yet been found guilty. He has been found guilty since - but he is innocent - but that is another story.

The man was a cop. We can assume he arrested people and they weren't happy. Tom Spota put his name and full address in the press release. Newsday, to their credit did not publish the address in the story.

My daughter and granddaughter, and the son in law's 90 year old grandfather lived at the address. And for that I will NEVER forgive that rotten POS DA.

Listen, virtually live in Hicksville. I would like to know where they were going. At least the street. Posting the section the bad guys came from would have sufficied.

BTW - top job, NCPD.

and, FF, did you happen to notice the bad guys had POLICE SCANNERS, and the three career burglars would look the dim witted jury in the face and say they never owned a scanner and wouldn' know how to use one if they had one - that is why they needed the cop with his police radio.

PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE -

That piece of testimony alone should have resulted in an acquittal. From what I have read of your posts, and we have disagreed, if you were sitting on the jury you would have put a big check in the vote to acquit if you heard the three POS say they never owned a police radio.
