It is unfortunate that the county is the only entity in the 21st Century. The problem is not with the county, it is with employers, especially those on LI.

It's so sad that these people continue to lawfully steal benefits and money from the public.

I was a Day Care Center board member many years ago (unpaid) and it never failed to amaze me that the board was willing to raise salaries for the Director and staff without thought to how doing so would affect tuition rates. There reasoning is not unlike what you hear today "they deserve the money."

It's time to take back the power of the purse.

What a bunch of greedy thieves! No wonder the rest of the world laughs at us. It's time we stop being sheep led to the slaughter by going along with our 'elected' officials, and start thinking for ourselves.
