Apsara is a total experience, and an enjoyable experience it is, too. An "Apsara" i a water nymph or muse, and at the the entrance we were greeted by a nearly lifesized bronze deity. The service was excellent, even though they were busy. When we discussed our preferences with the manager (owner?) he hurried to the kitchen and had the chef prepare a specialty dish that he thought we would enjoy.(And we did!) And this was a buffet.
It all seemed authentic to us (at least authentic Toronto Indian Food) and soon walk-in groups of 18 were being accomodated. Attentive service and outstanding food made for an outstanding buffet experience at Apsara.
