"Second Squad detectives said two men entered the Broadway massage office at around 6:32 p.m., and the woman, 46, recognized them from an earlier, unreported robbery"

Sounds like a drug deal gone bad...

Doesn't anyone want to know why she was on the roof - I do! If I were trying to escape someone, the last place I would go is the roof! Something is not right here.

Maybe during the "massage" the client realized the masseuse was one of them "she-males"....I know I'd be ticked off if that happened at the massage parlor that I frequent.

Why was the earlier robbery "unreported?" Something's fishy here.

Running to a roof top is just plain dumb. And if she is only a worker there, what was she really running from? Most workers would just fork over the money. After all, it isn't hers! There's more to this story.

Does anyone realize how many robberys we have had on long island recently? It seems like all the news lately has been on Long Island and the police don't seem to know anything. Its getting really scary. Between the robberies on the end of the island and now they are moving closer to nassau its getting ridiculous. This poor woman she should have reported the first robbery. Police get off your asses and stop performing stupid traffic stops and try and catch some of these bad guys. That is your job correct????

I wonder if this was the same "two men" that Newsday usually reports? Those "two men" are really busy!

Don't bother putting the tip line phone number in if you can't offer a better description!

No, you've got it all wrong. The headline says she was a chaste masseuse. Oh, wait a minute -- that's "chased." Never mind.

"Legal" massage businesses are mainly paid by either medical insurance or no fault, maybe workman's comp.

So where was all this money? Maybe a fat envelope of co-payments?

There is deffo more than meets the optics in this story.

Don't you sometimes get the impression that the Newsday reporters write pieces in this manner just to get you thinking about what they're NOT reporting?

Or is it just lazy journalism?
