Yep sure was a mistake, NOT! He had all the intentions once he knew that Jason was heading to the complex. You wouldn't pistol whip someone with a loaded gun and just happen to have your finger on the trigger. You would not push the mother of your child down a flight of stairs while she is pregnant and feel no remorse would you? All the motion of discovery does is gives the state a certain deadline to disclose any information to the defendant and his/her attorney(s) or some sanctions COULD POSSIBLY include but are not limited to exclusion of the evidence in question, the granting of a continuance, or a dismissal of the charges. It is mainly used in cases that the defendant is "wrongfully accused" which Mike is not b/c he has already said "GUILTY!" Any kind of first degree murder is a class A felony and is punishable by life imprisonment. Yeah yeah i know Mike will not face the death penalty-big whoopie dumb asses. Section 3 Article 6 of chapter 14 of the General Statues states. Murder committed or attempted with the use of a deadly weapon shall be deemed murder in the first degree.
