Crazy TV Preacher from Hickory

Which preacher are you referring too? I went to one in Hildebran with someone like that who is also on tv now.

I second that!! I've attended and can honestly say that I have never been to a friendlier church. God is definitely present there and the teaching comes from the Bible and comes passionately from a very friendly pastor. I am new there but feel like I'm at home. Please come visit!

I second that! I've been there, and have made it my church home. I have never been to a friendlier church and I love it. The people are helpful, friendly, and kind, the pastor greets everyone (and remembers your name!) and I feel at home. The preaching is from the Bible and is passionate. Please visit us!

Was it the one on Henry River road? Black metal building?

Last time I saw it looked like black marble but yes right off Henry River rd. Victory Baptist.

Does anyone know, or have an opinion on, Pastor Brad Spencer--Healing Springs Church? Interesting fact...if you go to this church's website, a warning comes up saying this site may harm your computer and tells you to back out of it.

I've heard a lot of comments about this pastor and his wife, who is also supposedly a pastor as well. Just wondering what you guys might have heard?

I don't know the pastor personally but do know two of his sisters and a brother, which all have left his church. None of them have any kind words for this church or the pastor. He has lost his focus on what he will receive in heaven and can't get past what and how much he can accumulate of the worldly things.I am not here to judge this man but I beieive that the Lord will provide for you what he wants you to have and for him to badger his church for his monetary gain and try to instill fear into them if they don't follow his wishes is a sin.

if you went to the kingdom hall of jehovahs witnesses you woldnt have these problems. they pray for gods kingdom to take away all these problems and they dont pass a collection plate or require any money to be a member

The Jehovah's Witness has some beleifs that I do agree with but also have many that I was not raised up in nor do I beleive in. They beleive that there is only one God and do not beleive in the Trinity, They beleive that he is a created spirit being, They beleive that no souls remain after death and those judged unrighteous will not be tormented but cease to exist, They do not beleive in the celebration of Birthdays or Holidays, Serving in the Military or Armed Forces is strictly prohibited and they do not beleive in blood transfusions. They also beleive that there will be only a certain number of people that will make it to heaven but I can't remember the exact number right now. If I had to adhere to these rules I doubt that I would make it to heaven.

This is a joke to me. They enjoy the freedom that this country provides but will not fight for it. They should be deported along with everyone that will not fight for our way of life. It is like spitting on the graves of all the troops that died and were injured fighting for all of us. All races. All religions. I feel sick every time I here someone say bad things about this country. I am not saying they have to support the wars we are involved in but they MUST support the troops who put their live on the line everyday.

why should christians support a system that is ruled and operated by satan. the bible says be no part of the world, and that satan is the ruler of this system of things. satan and his system will be brought to an end.

all of our beliefs are bible based, gods name is jehovah, psalms 83:18 jesus is his only begotten son who was sent to earth as a ransom sacrifice for all mankind, how could jesus have prayed to god while he was on earth if he is god ? the holy spirit is gods active force. the only bible based celebration is the partaking of the bread and wine, jesus said: do this in remembrance of me. no other celebrations are mentioned in the bible, most holidays are pagan origin. the bible also says be no part of the world. when jehovah gave man the right to consume animals , he himself said , its blood you must not eat. in revelations chapter 17, it tells of the 144000 chosen ones that will reign in heaven and become a part of christs kingdom that will fight the final battle with satan and remove his system of things and usher in a paradise that jesus himself will rule after satan is destroyed.
pay attention to jesus prayer in the sermon on the mount

thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven

what is it that we actually pray for ?
