Does anyone know if Fiserv hires with bad credit?
NO! Since you are working with sensitive client information, the credit check is stringent.

I know from a fact that there they have several criminals under their employment -0- If you happen to be an honest person looking for employment they aren't going to hire you.
Also it would help is your IQ was around room temperature. If you are able to think on your own you’ll screw yourself out of a job.
No, I’ve never worked or applied to the company… I do however know several persons who are employed there and I would never hire them to work for my company.
I was a previous employee there, and I was terminated after a year due to an illness that caused an overage in my attendance. I have no criminal background, and decent credit. My manager worked his ass off to try and save my job since I had been there for so long. If you can pull your worth, and do whats actually asked of you, the job is great. I had issues while working there with on of the major contracting companies they worked with, but Fiserv itself was still a great job, with great benefits. They even have little contests, which the woman in the cubicle next to me won an Ipad.
Since you have never worked at the company, you shouldn't talk trash about it, or about their employee base. It is true that there are the occasional "un-desirable" employee, but they usually did not last long due to issues with complying with policies. Even though I was fired from this job, the time I spent there made good wages for a college student, and was easy as long as you can be nice to people over the phone.
This is a call center, so of course there are all types of people there. But I've also worked at the other call center in hickory (Convergys) and it makes Fiserv look like heaven by comparison. It's a high stress job, just like any call center, so if you cannot handle it, then don't work there. I can only speak to how the were up to the end of 2011, after that I just go off what friends I still have there say. It's busy, but probably the best job they can get with just a HS diploma.

You may have been a good employee they aren‘t all bad… however I speak from knowledge… I am business owner who had good referrals from the company, for someone I was going to potentially hire… I ran a background check… and low and behold questionable reports came back that indicated poor character… with dates prior to their employment…There is no way I would allow these people to work for my company…

Stop with the " ..... " and the " ...... " after every sentence .

Its hurts your credibility if you cant punctuate at least one sentence correctly out of a whole paragraph .

What are they looking for when they run your credit check? I have alot of unpaid bills ,mostly medical bills so I know my credit sucks! I need a good job in order to pay my bills so it seems like a catch 22.

Yes they will hire you with bad credit. They are looking for people who have repos, foreclosures etc that is what would keep you fron being hired. Bad credit from a hospital bill etc is fine.

I would not go there though. I work there now and the place is a pit. It is nicer than Convergys which is not saying much. Turn over is high. Management plays favorites. Its high stress with the possibility of taking 120 calls a day and them expecting you to make each call in less than 3 minutes.

If you have to pee get a doctors note. No I am not kidding. They will ding you for going to the bathroom more than 1 time in a shift (8.5 hours). I have been there 4 months and I am looking for a new job already.

I cannot believe this post isn't riddled with a 1000 comments. Why is everyone trying to hide the truth about this place? It's a hell hole! Yes. They hire from both the bottom of the barrel along with the best. When I worked there, there were so many people with at least an Associates Degree all the way up to a Masters Degree. MANY where there with a degree, but almost none held anything above a regular associates position. NO ONE with a senior, lead, or supervisory position EVER took any type of formal supervisory training. The food was crap any day you chose to eat it. The supervisors were jokes. The IT staff stood around and talked to associates all day. The HR staff didn't know the difference between a hole in the ground and their ass. And the upper management didn't care about the regular associates. As long as they didn't reflect bad on them as a whole, they pretended everything was fine. Several supervisors were fired for various reasons: from bullying to smoking pot in their cars with other associates. You name it, it happened there. Even the security was a joke! The head of security was the biggest joke running! All in all, going to the bathroom does count against you if it is outside of your break time. So try and use it only then. If you don't, it will reflect in your numbers. Associates had to cheat to keep their numbers up and several are on medication since starting work there or had to leave on medical leave because they couldn't take it. IF you are under 25 or working with a disability, you will thrive there. Your credit can be shot to hell and you get hired. You don't even have to speak clear English. I stayed way too long and left after the first opportunity that I got. There is no way I will ever go back. I was one of the few smart ones. I ran like hell and there's no turning back!

She's not lying about the doctor's note. Everyone has to hold it in order to go to the bathroom during your 3 breaks. But you forget, you're talking on the phone all day. Mouth gets dry and you have to stay hydrated. This means you have to drink a lot. Which causes you to have to use the bathroom more right? Not according to Fiserv. Just have your doctor's note so you can go to the bathroom.

I dont think they are moving jobs overseas, because they are posting adds on their site and craigslist for employment. I applied and got the job; which, starts on December 1rst for E-Payment services. They did a credit, background check, and drug test after offering employment. I am waiting to hear back to make sure everything went through okay, and I am positive it will be. If you are looking for a job go to the Fiserv website and fill out an application. They will do a phone interview, a face to face, after they offer employment they will do a credit, background check, and drug test. Hope this helps.
