Just wanted to rub it in to all the jerks on here who thought money could buy the mayors office and who think trashing experienced Aldermen has an effect. I am loving this!!!! Way to go Matt and Connie...keep doing exactly what you have been doing.

Let's hope she does not do more of the same. I don't think the city can stand the lawsuits. Old folks, please be sure to look both ways when crossing the street near city hall.

i know we are glad they won!!! There was a sign in our yard for Scott Walker and we kept taking it down but low and behold there was another in its place before we got home from work same day!!! Its one thing to ask support in these things but that goes a bit far in my book. Way to go Connie!!! Keep up the good work!

TRUE...... Now we all know why she wants the police substation to still be located on Porter.... she will need a ride home for the next 4 years... poor Villa - they thought it was for them....

Way to go Connie! Here's hoping the next 4 years are sobering ones.

The people have spoken, not loud and clear, but they spoke. So we are stuck another four.
I believe the citizens that voted for Ms. Moran are about as informed as, lets say, the people of Washington D. C. who voted for Marion Barry after he was caught with crack and prostitutes. Or the ones who voted for Jefferosn over in Louisiana. How about the clown in Minnesota, he's not funny, just an ass clown! Lest we forget the man in the white house, he's dolling out money like it's from a monopoly game. But, what the hell, we won't have to pay for it..maybe my great grand kids, but not me.

So, what do you say mayor...is the next round on you? Burp!!!

Just saw her acceptance speech. She spoke of "grass roots". Looking around the room I would chalk it up to "Fruits and Hops"!

Your right - Connie alone could build the Public Safty building from the tax revenue she has generated from her bar tab alone....

Google it, you forgot to add Alcee Hastings to that list. Remember, he was the Louisiana Fed judge who was impeached, then the donkeys elected him to Congress, where it turns out he just billed the taxpayers $30,000 or so for his BMW!

It's a sad day for the harbor with the Connie/Matt team back in place. Over the next 4 years we will see bars, bars and more bars, and probably more industrial uses. The police will need a special unit to handle the noise complaints. The bull will eventually run into someone and the road will have potholes 4' deep.

As for me, I'm staying home, crying into my Bud Light and staying away from all the bars where our Mayor is out celebrating her stunning victory! I suppose Matt will now put his boat back in the boat shed, he pulled it out for the election...count the days before it's back in there and he's back at the bar!

Hey google it,you say that we Moran supporters are uninformed? What about the fact that the pretty boy Scott actually voted for that 2% restraunt tax that he now opposes. Uninformed? Then i guess all of you Walker supporters must just be plain stupid to vote for the master deceiver .. Connie won---thank GOD!!!!!!

Maybe Matt can use his boat that is now back in the "ugly boat shed" to go fishing. I hope he catches lots of redfish. Maybe he will catch you. Then we won't have to listen to your crying over the will of the people. Face it redfish, you can't beat John Gill, and you can't beat Matt. They are both political dynastys in Ocean Springs. Watch out for that hook, it might snag your big fat mouth. Sorry wrong fish. I had you confused for a large mouth bass.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Virgo

Words are flying around in all directions today, and the conversations will be fast and furious. You might face a lot of distractions and interruptions, or you could get caught up in some rather irritable slanging matches with a certain person. The busier you are, the more fraught you'll become and the more likely to go off the deep end.
