I am so saddened by the loss of this child, and I wish the parents and grandparents my sympathy and condolences. I would, however, like to say, what is a 7 year old child doing driving an ATV? I see it in my neighborhood all the time. Young children driving golf carts and scooters flying down the streets. When are the politicians going to smarten up enough to pass some law prohibiting this? And, where are the cops when you need them? This is sad, very sad.

I couldn't agree more! Every evening there is a parade of children on ATV's and golf carts going past my house. Hasn't SC ever heard of the concept of "street legal?"

It's sad that a child has to pay the ultimate price for someone's nelect, but laws nor politians could protect him.

The children are victims of their relatives' stupidity and negligence. When the adults related to these children are arrested for their contributory negligence, then we will see a change in the attitudes of these felons. The same applies to relatives who quickly proclaim their innocence when the toddlers "accidently" drown in a nearby pond or backyard pool because the adults were irresponsible in caring for the safety and well being of these innocent children.

The laws are on the books already if you see a kid in the street call the law and report it. Call everytime you see it. Take pictures that's what it took to stop it on my street.(mopeds racing)hopefully they are wearing helmuts.
Its called child endangerment/neglect. hope this helps you

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Aries

There is a strong focus on career and parental matters today. You need to be cautious regarding your dealings with someone in authority - things may not be what they seem. This is also a good day to spend time with your partner. Communication in general should prove to be smoother sailing than usual so this would be an opportune time to discuss delicate matters with others. Good news in the evening is indicated.
