I went back to visit my old school this week. Very sad. Most of the Senior class have already left. They are taking classes at area colleges because the classes offered at TCHS are so pitiful. If they don't take classes at YHC or one of the other colleges they won't be able to get into a real college. They are only at the school for an hour a day. That makes for great class spirit. Those poor kids have been robbed of what should be some of the best years of their life.
I hear one of the administration employees daughter has moved to take courses in another County and only shows up about once a week at TCHS. I wonder how that fits the State attendance requirements?
The other word on campus is this years Star Student didn't score above 1800 on the SAT. What a joke. I would call that a Falling Star.
It looks like our new Superintendent is going to lead us to the bottom, just like she did at her former school. I feel sorry for those families who are stuck here. There is no leadership here anymore. The teachers and principals are just putting in their hours and going through the motions. If the School Board and Superintendent does not care why should they.

Don't you dare be talking about our FINE, UPSTANDING Board of Education, who believes in a "high quality" educational system.

"years of their life"?
That would be "lives," you moron.

"one of the administration employees daughter"?
Try, "a daughter of one of the administration employees," or, "one of the administration employees' daughters." You poor schmuck, you've been robbed of an education.

"School Board and Superintendent does"?
"Do," Dumbo, "do."

Otherwise, Dipstick, your usual brilliant post, and so original of you to direct your attention to our schools. Perhaps one day you would address the subject of our king and monarchy.

The original post is bad enough. Please find something else to post about. School posts are getting old. It is obvious whoever keeps posting about the school has major issues/axes to grind - either didn't get a job there, or something didn't go his/her way, or their child/children didn't get to play enough in a school related sport. You have far too much time on your hands, and there are certainly more important things going on in the world (and in our community). As for King/Queen Grammar - you are also incorrect. Try this: "one of the administration employee's daughters."

I agree with Please Stop. This is getting old, however, it "speaks the truth". I don't have an axe to grind, no kids in school, etc. but I do know what a "mess" our local schools are in. It is really sad for the children. The adults in Towns County that care about the future of their children, must "rise up" and get the train back on the track!!!

You are correct, "employee's" it is, and I thank you for the correction. One becomes brain dead reading this forum but it's an amusing window into the nutty, obsessed world of our whining, wingnut village idiot.

You are right. It is sad. The people telling to stop are the same people you are talking about who did not do their job and are now retired or are still working there. They should be called out for what they have done and continue to do to our youth. God Bless you for telling the truth.
