True, except they would refer you to the TC Sheriff's office who has the legal responsibility of investigating political corruption, which of course they aren't going to do for politically practical reasons. Think about this: if the SO were to go after Kendall, at least some of those who are beholding to him would NOT vote for the sheriff out of loyalty to Kendall. The voter base is simply too small to ignore this reality and as a result political corruption is allowed to continue.
Put another way - doing nothing is better, politically, than doing what is right.
Posting baseless accusations in an obvious attempt to steer people to your candidate is doing just the opposite. Just like the current national campaign the trust of the attack here is not on the record, but the person. Thats normally a tactic of last resort when they have nothing else to talk about.
