Got to see this wrote: go to www.Hellawassee.com you got to laugh or you will cry. If nothing else, this will make people think twice before they abuse kids, take kickbacks or vote for some of the fools in office. I think this put the cards on the table for everyone to see. Next chapter tell about the local banks lending to much money, then foreclosing, then the officers buying the property for pennies, then selling it again at a high price and financing it. The Hellawassee Banking circle of life.

I was out there again yesterday to see if anything had been done lately. Nothing has been. From what I've seen it appears the contractor met the requirements regarding stream pollution (barriers). Without the upper bank being terraced as it should have been, erosion will always be a problem, and along where the ball fields are to be, a safety hazard for kids who like to climb to the top of everywhere when parents aren't looking, but never expect to slip and fall. Liability insurance is going to cost an arm and a leg, to fix broken arms and legs, and pay for law suits. The plan (artist's drawing) that's available at the courthouse looks good. Too bad there wasn't a topographical map to go with it that would have shed light on the problems with that bank. I estimate it to be at least 180 feet from the top of the hill to the bottom and with about 40 degrees of slope, plus or minus. Large rocks at the bottom could stop some of the erosion, but it would sure make for rough landings.

Large rocks in your head (barriers to sanity) cause you to obsess about problems that do not exist or that will be resolved. Relax, Dumbo, go have a nice swim in the red lake.

Relax, Dumbo, go have a nice swim in the red lake. Can't fix the 200 foot cliff or the 200 foot top bank. To steep for trees or grass. Will look horrible and cost taxpayers forever. Just Dumb. But hey, the sellers are happy.

Ouch! Even a blind man could follow that paper trail. It took every bit of five minutes to figure out what happened, and how. Any Realtor (especially), banker or investor in real estate can do it from their computer. Typically in this sort of transaction, "blame" is laid at the feet of the county tax assessor when it comes to light, but here, I don't know who would become the annointed one. They'd all probably go slack-jawed and slobber snuff drippings down the fronts of their shirts as they ask for your prayers and support, and remind you they're good, honest Christians who would never take a dime the good Lord didn't intend them to have.

Bill Kendall is a Christian Man who would never buy property for twice what it is worth for the County. He would never spend ten times what it should cost to develop that land. He would never cover up theft and corruption to gain favors from local families. Not Bill.

The new chapter is up. Not funny at all. I think the purpose of the whole story is now evident. If it is even slightly true some people should be run out of town. Others should be in jail and not in office. I can't wait for the chapter on the banks and real estate scams run in this area. I bet a few bankers are not sleeping well. The scam developers hav all gone bankrupt or left so they probably don't care.

The story is sad. Why can't people just do the right thing. I'm glad someone is calling the crooks out. This type of thing must stop. I've known Kendall for years. He is a slimball. Acts like this kind old man. Really he is a mean, hatefull person who now has onset Alzheimers. That's the big family secret.

Some folks will believe ANYTHING! That's the real moral to this ongoing Fairytale. Its a real sad situation that not only is happening here but all over this country.
