Can you believe the paper printed that letter to the editor!
The writer made some good points.

Maybe the paper wants to do the right thing. Maybe this is their way of getting the real story out to the public without getting their hands dirty.
Whatever the reason I'm glad they ran the letter. Maybe this is the first step toward fixing all that is broke around here. Like the letter says, Accountability is the job of the voter. It's been a long time since we had any accountability in this County.

My bet would be we are about to get a 10,000 word manifesto wrote by the Superintendent outlining why she hired someone with little or no experience and didn't bother to advertise it. I hope it includes a chapter on why our administrative budget is bigger than a school system three times our size and she just added another $75,000 per year job to it. Then we will get several weeks of feel good stories about what a great hire this guys is. You can bet the propaganda machine is on full damage control. The administration minions are already showing up here on TOPIX.
My hat is off to anyone with the balls to point out the corruption and nepotism in this County and sign their name to it. He probably doesn't care. I read where his kid is one of the top student and is graduating. I sure wouldn't want to take on the machine if I had kids still in the school. There are a bunch of vicious, vindictive small minded people who work there.

Why not just pack your ass up and leave? I know, because then you would have nothing to bitch about and your life would have no purpose...

Dear School Board Minion

Why don't you do the right thing and resign from your un-needed position that is taking money away from teachers. You are sucking the life out of our school. Take the other five worthless parasites too, who sit all day in the office with you doing nothing. You should be ashamed. See you in church Sunday.

When the truth comes out about the new guy only having experience as a Gym Teacher the past seven years the heat will get turned up more.
Regardless of what the board does now he will never have the respect of the community or teachers. My bet is he will not last a year.
The Super can write anything she wants. There is no way to justify a hire like that. She hired a unqualified friend and someone called her out on it. End of Story

Most people, Dumbo, normal, thinking, sentient people, have a cut off switch, a super ego, a wish to not embarass themselves that prevents them from exposing themselves as stupid asses. Not you. English for you is always a foreign language, always eluding you.

You write of a "manifesto wrote by the Superintendent" and "I read where his kid is one of the top student." Just pathetic. You continue to embarass the people of Towns County.

The vacancy in the principalship should have been widely advertised, qualified applicants interviewed, and their credentials carefully investigated.

Your last paragraph intrigues me. You, as the self appointed defender of the English language and this town's dysfunctional school and county government, finding fault with the hiring process? Perhaps, just perhaps, this county has reached the tipping point.
When blind followers like yourself, begin to question or show even the slightest disdain for the corruption, dishonesty and integrity by their leaders, it tells me the general public are probably livid about it. I am off to discuss this and other talking points over a nice greasy breakfast. Have a wonderful day.

RE: accountability is the job of the voters.

No.
The Superintendent should be accountable.
The Principals should be accountable.
The Assist. Principals should be accountable.
The Teachers should be accountable.
That is what ACCOUNTABLE should be.
