Well, my family had a great experience with Hospice when my grandmother was dying.

We were at the hospital as much as we could be and when we weren't, Hospice visited her and gave us updates.

We requested extra morphine for my grandmother because she was grimacing in pain in her sleep. And we would stay in the room until it took effect to make sure her pain was gone. We had to do this a few times.

It would have killed us to know she was dying in so much pain.

When the day came that she died, Hospice volunteers were right there to pray and comfort us. These are volunteers who gave of their time.

Which Hospice was it and how long was she under their care?

Not so, Dumbo. Why, in your specious little drama, did you not intervene. Who is the perp? Who is the victim? Simple questions for a simpleton.
Having failed to answer any of these simple direct questions, you are revealed again, no surprise here, as a noxious lying worm.

"Noxious lying worm", "Bearskat"? The Topix Kendall supporting troll strikes again.
He should hire you to browbeat his secretaries.
He could even use a man of your winsomeness to permanently run off any prospective businesses.
You could even write his office memos. Of course you will have to make sure that you know how to spell N-I-G-G-E-R.
Lets see if it will post this way

This is the post that had the Troll so upset. There were family members that praised Hospice afterwards like one poster here. They didn't have a clue about what was going on. There were a few that knew exactly what was going on. They even said they agreed with Jack Kevorkian.

Palliative Care and hospice care are benefiting a lot of patients. It is sad that folks would come on here and mislead others on what hospice is and is not. Hospice provides patients a dignified and comfortable way to spend the last months of their lives. Medicare allows for multiple re-certifications on two 90 day schedules followed by re-certifications every 60 days. There are folks in hospice for dementia, heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease and not just cancer. Some dementia patients have been known to be under hospice care for 2 years or more. There are hospice criteria which must be adhered to.
Go blow your smoke somewhere else.

I started this post because I have personally seen Hospice, "speed up the process", but I would call it "kill" the patient.

At the time I was not positive that was what they were doing. I went home and researched what they were doing on the Internet. I was in a situation where a lot of emotions were involved with the family and it did not seem possible to even bring up the subject to them.

I watched them poison the patient to death with morphine. Dose after dose getting larger and larger and more and more frequent.. It was a gut wrenching experience. I knew what they were doing but could not do a thing about it.

I know for a fact that the patient began to realize what they were doing too and tried to communicate it the best that the patient could in the stupor that they had the patient in. I will not go into details that will reveal any identities.

This is not an indictment of all Hospice services. There are still a few committed to comforting the patient until God's time. Good luck finding one. Call the Catholic Church, they may be able to help. I am not a Catholic by the way, but they are right about this.

Why did you not call the cops??? You can still call the cops murder is murder. Or are you confusing what a much-needed organization like Hospice did to make that persons last days more comfortable. Or would you prefer for that person to be in pain until that final moment. Hospice comes in at the end, the end of life. They came in for my father and helped my mother cope and I hope they will be there when I need them.

What Hospice are you talking about so i can look them up?

Have you read the thread? The Sheriff would prosecute but the DA has the final word on this.

"District Attorneys may personally know the doctors or nurses involved and therefore may be quite hesitant to act to investigate medical killings in hospice settings."

I am doing what I can. I am letting people know about this.

"For medical killings in hospice settings to be prosecuted, the public will need to make sure the DAs and government representatives know that this is not going to be tolerated by the people of the USA! Let them know very clearly that you want these medical killings stopped, and that those medical killings which are reported should be prosecuted. "Angels of death" in hospices who violate laws must not be immune to prosecution for killing patients. Picketing the local county district attorney's office when they refuse to prosecute a killing in a health care setting should be happening all around our nation! The people must speak up!"

To Beargate:

1) At what Hospice did you witness the murder of a patient?

2) Why did you not intervene to save the life of the patient who, you say, was desperately indicating his will to live?

3) Who was the doctor who administered the fatal dose?

4) Did you report this incident, and if so, to whom?

5) Are you accusing Dist. Attorney Langley, whom you refer to as Jeff Langley, of criminal neglect in refusing to hear this case?

6) Did you report this alleged murder to the press?

Go to Hospice Patients Alliance, an organization dedicated to preserving the original mission of Hospice, and you can find many reports like mine. Reports are coming into them every day.

Here are a few topics:

Reporting Unwanted Euthanasia to Federal Prosecutors
(Local DA Often Won't Investigate Murder of Terminally Ill)

Euthanasia Not Rare

Medically-Induced Coma is First Step to Euthanasia

Terminally Ill (and their Families)
Actually Lose Their Access to the local Justice System

Physicians Protect Each Other

Local Prosecutors Often Use Delay Tactics
And Never Investigate Illegal Euthanasia/Murder

Starving a patient against his will is not hospice care.

Turn over enough rocks and you will find more nuts like you. Sometimes when a loved one dies people look to place blame, Hospice is a wonderfull organization. If you wittnesed a murder call the cops. As for all the excuess as to why they don't procucute a murder, could iy be because its not a murder.

Lets keep the Topix troll mad. He hates this thread.

Maybe I will start one about doctors punching scissors into the brains of babies while they are still in the birth canal because a few more inches and they could be charged with murder. That is what a partial birth abortion is.

People like the Topix troll want to cover these things up. I will continue to speak out against the culture of death.

People who do t wear seatbelts by your logic are guilty of suicide. There is a law about wearing a seatbelt. I have personally heard our sheriff say that he tells his officers to not enforce it for adults.

Saying that not wearing a seat belt is the same thing as a doctor shoving a pair of scissors into a living baby's brain is the most asinine thing I have ever read on here.
