Miami-to-Orlando passenger rail on track

When are politicians gonna stop playing with train sets?

Tri-Rail is a failure, has never turned a profit and has run in the red since it's inception. It never will make money because those behind these projects skew the ridership numbers to make it seem like a good idea.

AmTrak already runs from Miami to Orlando. Wanna ride the train? Call them. They have decades of experience in what works and what doesn't. That's why they only run one train a day on that corridor. Heck, they run in the red as well and need tax dollars to keep them afloat so why would this project be financially self sufficant?

And get the tag line 'It will create jobs'. Bullshit. Only temporary construction jobs from out of state workers and a few train employees. How many jobs did Tri-Rail create? Not many and our tax dollars are paying them.
