I believe if you own your home, you fix it yourself. The owners of this stadium should fix their own home/stadium
At their expense.they are the ones that will benefit. Furthermore the people who live near the stadium should get lower priced tickets to the games.

Corporate welfare is what these assorted self serving Miami politicians are all about (not all but most). Rep or Dem means NOTHING in the banana republica.
The Dolphins is owned by a muliti, multi-millionaire who pays some of his players contracts of tens of millions of dollars and he wants OUR/Miami to re-do his stadium.
He KNOWS that PLENTY of Miami "up for sale" politicians are more than willing to sell out the people here.
Contact Commissioner Barbara Jordan and Commissioner Jose Pepe Diaz, tell them you want to start a business in Miami that will hire people but you need Miami money for it.
They will tell you to go #### yourself (well unless something in it for them under the table ).

Commissioner Barbara Jordan wants to raise hotel taxes to pay for the Dolphins stadium , if that is the case than hotels who want to make renovations should ask that restaurant taxes be raised for them and restaurant who want renovations should ask that our taxes be raised for them.
I want a boat and think the Miami commissioners should pay for it, I see no reason why not with their "reasoning".

Lol chico even you who copies names do not believe that for a Miami Cuban ethnic voting second.
This ONLY 1 way that chupa cabra cost this place more money than anything else. The guy is a disaster and in a NON Kathleen Rundle run city he would most likely be in jail .
"Miami commissioner’s private sector employer gets millions of dollars of contracts from airport- commissioner says “no conflict”"
Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz doesn’t seem to be too concerned over the appearance of insider dealings when it comes to work done by U.S. Construction- an outfit that he joined three years ago as a director, after his previous employer was shut down on fraud charges and two of his bosses were sent off to prison.
Over the last three years since Diaz was hired by U.S. Construction, the company has become the top general contractor at the Miami International Airport, according to an investigation by The Miami Herald. During the same period, Diaz has served as chairman or vice-chairman supervising the County Commission’s committee overseeing airport operations.
U.S. Construction has pulled over 36 permits since Diaz’s arrival, handling everything from Duty Free stores to the sprawling La Carreta restaurant. In fact, the company has secured three times the work of the next-largest contractor. Prior to hiring Diaz, the contractor was a minor player at the airport.

The whole position of commissioner has cost this city much more than it has done and a position that should have been done away with.
For so called "less" gvmt, these Cubans have created a small military of public officials where no one is accountable .
These politicos with their "Castro this and Castro that" while they suck our blood and the etnic voting zombies wouldn't have it any other way.

By your standards he is.
"The Cuban community that doesn’t care about corruption when it casts its vote was critically portrayed by most leading city columnists and others, Cuban and otherwise. Robert Steinback, a Black Miami Herald columnist, said the Cuban community is gullible. Liz Balmaseda calls it “a knee-jerk majority” that would elect a hamster wearing a Cuba Libre T-shirt, and,“They only cared that he was Cuban.”
