Child abandonment. This is the greater offense. Now with the kids out of the way she should be able to excel in the career of theivery. Really, she left her children behind over a shoplifting charge. Did they drug test her? Whatever happened to taking the kids to see Christmas lights. I know the atheists would disagree, but it has to be better than a shoplifting spree and you still get to wake up with your kids.

Unfortunately I don't think they can get the unfit mother and thief for child abandonment because there were 2 other adults with them.

I think this sorry excuse for a "mother" should be declared unfit, and someone in the family that is much more stable and honest, should get custody of the babies.

If there are not any edible family members, then they should be placed in foster care, and being only babies still, should be put up for adoption and placed together in a loving environment. They'd be adopted in a heartbeat.

They should mention here that they are both only babies, and they were with 2 other adults when the thieving momster stole and then ran off like a thief in the night.

Hopefully the other 2 adults (who knows, they could even be the grandparents of the baby girls) knew nothing about this criminal act the selfish momster commited.

This mother needs to be thankful if she is lucky enough to have family step in, and I too hope she does. Hopefully this is just poor judgement and a bad mistake with maybe a lesson learned at the end of it all.
