The equipment is nice. The staff is TERRIBLE.

Hours of operation:
5:00 AM to 10:00 PM M - F
7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Sat
Closed Sunday
I've working out here since they opened. Yes, the equipment is nice. Plenty of treadmills and ellipticals for cardio work. They have free weights and weight machines. If you have worked out before and have a good idea of what your want to do, this would be a good place to go. Normally it's very quiet, and even during the peak hours it is not too crowded. They have a cardio theater with Treadmills, Ellipticals and stationary bikes. The movie choices are middle of the road, mostly action flicks.
The staff leaves way too much to be desired. The free Personal Training sessions are used as an opportunity to sell you on more training sessions and little to no training actually happens during your "free" session. The girl who opens up during the week (5:00 AM) is very nice, but basically just a pretty face. The Staff in place during the day exhibit serious signs of boredom and have no idea the meaning of "customer service".
Actual cost for this gym:
$10.69 per month
$22.46 every 6 months
for a total of $173.20 a year, which works out to just about $14.45 a month. Still a good deal, as long as you are NOT looking for someone to help you with your workout.

They have really nice equipment and its never too busy. Ive been working out there for two months and really can't complain about the gym itself, however if you are looking for guidance on your workout routine from the staff, this is not the gym for you. its more for the person who knows what they want to accomplish.

the equipment is nice, and well maintained. There are very few people there...ever

The bad....the staff is horrible. They are very high pressure up front...and then have very annoying sales tactics to sell "personal training". With 1 exception the trainers don't really seem to know what they are talking about...but they appear to know where to buy 'roids!

I am tired of hearing the trainers hassle people as they try to work out...if you don't appear confident they feed it to get a sale.

NOT A POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT! But cheap...and empty if you can tell them to get lost and stop trying to sell you.

Great gym, great equipment. The cleaning crew does a great job of keeping things clean and nice. Haven't used the trainers because I have my own routine but all are friendly and usually open if you have a basic question. Gotta cut them some slack as they ARE trying to build membership so they can keep their doors open and come on, you can't beat the price especially with no 3 year commitment! You can't even make the pmt on a descent treadmill for the price they charge to use such a nice facility. I tell all my friends. Another nice thing is that there isn't a bunch of gym rats hanging around in skimpy outfits socializing and hitting on everybody. Just a bunch of average joes and janes trying to improve themselves. Great atmosphere. And No! I don't work there! Haha. Just wish they had some analog clocks to help keep time between sets as I don't wear a watch.

I agree with the first post regarding the staff. The facility itself is really nice, but the staff is a bunch of kids with absolutely no PR skills. Also the pressure to have a personal trainer borders on harrasment. I lasted about two weeks and decided it was worth it to pay a bit more, and get treated like a human being.

This place is a complete scam. I love the equipment but the people that work there are completely incompentent they don't understand the word "no" and will do anything to keep you there. I wanted to quit and they tried to give me one month free and a month free with a personal trainer. I told them no and they just kept trying to give me stuff so i wouldn't quit. I no longer want to join any gyms thanks to what happened with this gym. I think you're better off buying the dvds and working out in your living room.

I think this gym is AWESOME, and the staff has been nothing but nice to me. I do have a trainer, and he's definitely helped me out. I enjoy this place quite immensely. The atmosphere is very friendly and comfortable. I will continue to go as long as it's open!:)

I've been going to Crossroads in Sandy since September 2010. During this time I've gotten to know several of the staff and have found them to be very helpful. I've had a few health issues and my trainer, Shane, has been wonderful in helping me workout and deal with them. You get out what you put in to something.

I could not agree with this more... This gym is terrible.. I have been trying to quit for almost four months now and they keep charging me! Started with a phone call where they told me it was taken care of... Time goes by and I get charged again... Call again and they say it was never done... So I decide to go in one day and they tell me I have to sign paperwork in order to get it done.. I sign the paperwork and what do you know I get charged again! This time I go in and speak with a manager, and he proceeds to tell me that I am in a contract.(Hello!! Only reason I signed up with them is that it's month-to-month) tell me my last payment will be in June... Alright fine. I'll let it go I mean it's only 10 a month. If that's really what it'll take to get rid of them then fine.(Fucking joke) Here come July I think I'm finally free of this piece of shit company and I get charged AGAIN! I finally dispute it through my credit card company and Crossroads comes back and says that my contract is until OCTOBER(?!) but since I've been going through "So much trouble" for it that they'll stop charging me... But I'm still responsible for the other months I wasn't supposed to be charged...

It's pathetic.. And I don't recommend this gym to anyone..
