Don't need a permit or license for any other individual right...why should I accept the need for one on the 2nd Amendment...? I can carry open or concealed...my choice...and I do it without a permit or license now.

Every statement you make is wrong. You are both ignorant of facts, and apparently clueless about the fact that you are one member of a society, whether you like it or not.

Perhaps you should look up the laws of the state from where Marauder posts...before making asinine comments.

You are an idiot. The rights of the individual are protected in our representative republic. The tyranny of a majority, over individual rights, is not tolerated by our Constitution. Take a hike you socialistic POS.

Would you please show where I am wrong and what "facts" you claim I am ignorant of...?

If you do your own reseach you might learn something and learn not to spout off so fast yourself without knowing the "facts".

Gun permit laws only serve to control the law abiding. How many drunk drivers drive without a license after they have had their license revoked for drinking and driving? Registration of firearms makes for a handy list to confiscate said firearms. Confiscation happens more than many realize. New York is noted for suspending pistol permits and confiscating the guns on the permit as well as any other guns in the possession of the permit holder.

Can you carry open or concealed anywhere you like, with no restrictions (bars, schools, courthouses)? NO.
Are individual rights regulated (assembly, speech, search and seizure, etc.)? YES
Are gun rights extremists living in a fantasy world ? YES.

The 2nd Amendment, the individual right to keep and bear arms, is the only right that has prerequisite requirements. In other words, requirements that must be met BEFORE you can exercise your right. The other rights that you site do not.

Are "frustrated control freaks" getting more and more frustrated because they are losing their grip...? YES!!
