Plea agreement could be in Gallatin Co. sheriff's future

Gallatin County Sheriff Raymond M. Martin is facing three federal counts of distribution of marijuana and two of carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug crime.

how could anyone be so nieve about selling drugs. everyone knows that you NEVER meet at the same place everytime. and you NEVER do it in uniform, drawing guns etc. that man is a true country bumpkin. now his family is left to suffer. and there are still people here that will tell you that raymond 'did his job, and was always a nice guy'. he played poker w/several guys here and several of the men didnt have drivers lisc and raymond knew it. radar knows who does it too.
so lets see........raymond....next time....send your cash to an untraceble bank...instead of in his house...DONT do it in your uniform that the people have entrusted you to wear....those will be added counts in gallatin co court. dont pay for a 250,000 home in cash money......he needs to win the 'dumbest crime' contest. and now he wants to plea bargain.
i will write to the governor, senator, even the president if he gets a plea deal on the gun charges. to me with the guns...oh heck no!!
people here wondered how he paid for that house and he was found to have items--guns, cash, dope-- in his home that was supposed to be in the evidence room. he said there wasnt room for it there. yes it was in the papers.....all of it...and they still re-elected him. shame on you who voted for him.
he was at our school as an acr deputy to watch the 'in school suspension' or ACR students.
i think he needs to do all the time they can give him. it may show everyone in counties all around that sometimes 'bein a good ol boy' isnt enough.
and thats what it takes to get away w/stuff...bein a friend with and themselves bein 'good ol boys'.....i was gonna say sorry for the rant....but no way im sorry, thats how i feel and am not happy about any of it.
wait........cherry on the stupid meter.....his son who worked at the court house was fired. why? who knows...he wasnt implicated or arrested in the sting. sad, sad, sad..........

ime the son and havent been fired yet but the board and the employees at teh court house have harrassed me since the day it happened and i didnt even do anything. There is still talk about firing me.

hipo-crits thats the court and police system for you.in gallatin county in a nut shell,good ole boy system.. cops that have had duis and still get to pull over others for drinking, attorneys with drug problems counceling others for possession,, its how much money can you buy you way out of,, it always comes down to the all mighty dollar. cops drive past you like you sitting still and practically run you off the road , then wanna pull you over for speeding in town for 5 miles above a 2o mph sign,its a joke. don't do as we do , do as we say.. well, if you ain't got nothing nice to say about someone dont say nothing... well, I got nothing to say..

Raymond is the typical douchebag cop. I'm pretty sure his wife knew what was going on, she went along with it for the money. I hope he spends many years behind bars.
