I don't agree on many ideas that Governor Blagojevich has had but this IDOT move I strongly agree with! I feel It will boost Southern Illinois economy to an extreme. If the IDOT workers in Springfield really want their jobs they could always move to Harrisburg it's not like their getting fired. I hope they come up with a decision by then end of this year.

I would rather have the Springfielders stay up there and keep thier jobs if the people here are not going to get them.

Some of the Springfielders don't want to move here anyway, think they are too good for the hillbilly part of the state.

I was up in Springfield when this issue was being debated and it apparently got pretty heated. I don't think there's a snowball's chance in Hell that IDOT will make this move. In fact, I think the proposal is DOA. I believe it was a Blogojevich ploy to get some political favors at the time.
