Hispanic US citizen. I was stating the legal facts on 287G. However, I actually wish there were a logistical and legal ways to round them up and clear them out. I know that illegals and illegal supporters like to lump themselves in with legal immigrants but they are not the same. Legal Immigrants are welcome, they have made the commitment and followed the rules to be here (freedom is not free). This issue has nothing to do with fear of foreigners, not for most of us. It has to do with the rule of law, the burden on taxpayers to cover the children of illegals, the burden in our schools, hospitals and prisons, the quality of life in our neighborhoods, the security of our borders, the issue of job loss and idenity theft. Americans who are demanding that our immigration laws be enforced are not Xenophobes. Give me your best argument on your pro-illegal alien beliefs but if you want to be taken seriously, do it without name-calling or labling people as Xenophobes, Racists, etc.

Are you saying that WHEN we deport all the illegals we'll have to pick our own vegetables too? Oh boy, whatever shall we do? And working outside in the heat? Been there, done that! You only assume you know what real American's do. That we all work inside in offices. I'll admit that's what I do now, but that's not always been the case. And I work very hard. I'm a single mother taking care of my business and I'm NOT on welfare. Can you say that about your hardworking illegals? And just to clarify something as you seem to be confused, I have NEVER stated I was trying to relate to illegals. Ever. Comprende?
