Thanks to the Democrat run state the new California Dream is: Live long enough to move from Welfare ( free housing, medical, food stamps, free lunches, dinners, clothing ) to Social Security Disability.

'figger', really???...it's spelled FIGURE. Here's a hint, those squiggly red lines under some of your words means you SPELLED them wrong. Right click and try to 'figger' out which of the words is the one you were attempting...
Illegal alien and/or drop out or a product of the LAUSD?
OUCH! Looks like you Oakies didn't like my comment about South Central butt were unable to think up a response. Lacking a sense of humor are you? Or jist a bit dim? Didn't you notice that "figger" rhymes with the second topic in my memo, "Afro-American"? Dullards!

Trust me, the only thing 'time will tell' is this is a BAD thing. The United States is becoming a third world ghetto in two generations. When this comes to fruition, what then? Are you prepared to support millions of peasants with little to no education, breeding out of control?
No, that is why I worked my way through college, earned a scholarship for my masters, was hired in my current position and now vote republican. Yes, I am a Latino that votes republican. I'm registered as a Democrat yet, have found that in my adulthood, my views fiscally have changed after living in Long Beach in front of a health clinic on 7th and Chestnut. Like I stated in my previous post: The current scenario was created by liberal funding. Communities that have citizens with higher educations have fewer children and the majority of those children obtain higher educations themselves. Thus because California was so liberal with its funding for immigrants in need, an exodus of people in need happened and those people understood the value of having a child born in the US. Good luck with the Dream Act suckers!

Can someone explain to me, a Native American, why the Latino culture seems to discourage education, encourage gangs and promote writing on walls?
Because we were also indigenous and the Catholic religion was forced upon us by our conquerors. If we would not convert, we would be killed. We are taught not to use birth control and that we can do whatever we like because God will always provide. I can do whatever I want so long as I tell Jesus I'm sorry. My local priest will tell me I am forgiven even for killing someone because Jesus died for my sins. In America my family is my gang. I have to serve them to get protection and respect in my poverty stricken neighborhood. When I perform well in school, I have to keep it to myself or one of my six brothers will tell someone in my gang and I'll get beaten up for it. It's not uncommon for my friends to impregnate a girl by our twenties and then the cycle begins again. There are programs for us to pick up food for free and my friends kids are first in line at the kindergarden because they are in need. The responsible people that saved money and have one child will have to look for another school to take their child so that they can both go back to work and pay high taxes in California to provide for the irresponsible people. Looks like college is only getting more expensive so it looks like I will be in the same cycle very soon.

The English language is so amazing! Have you noticed that if you rearrange the letters in "illegal immigrants" and add just a few more letters, it spells out:
"F--k off and go home you freeloading, benefit-grabbing, kid-producing, violent, non-English speaking c---suckers and take those hairy-faced, sandal-wearing, bomb-making, goat-f--king, smelly r.a.g head b--tards with you."
How weird is that?

Why is it that education is free here and latinos have been attending for decades and yet we still have not mastered the English language. Why do we still have everything written in spanish?

Hooooorahhhh!!!!

Now we got a majority of Hispanics!!! Will be nice to see more Villagorosas around. Please STAY in CA though.

Honestly, couldn't care less. This will neither improve race relations, decrease poverty or increase literacy, because we all know this is just more of the same. More race stoking, to remind the clients to vote democrat next time also. The pensions of city workers, cops, politicians and state employees need to be filled, so let us keep the Latinos in the dark with fiscal realities like keep lying to them about how the $ is more akin to Perpetuum Mobile than real value, the infinity of welfare and how endless the pockets of all us dumb others are..

Another problem with the number of illegals on aid in CA is that state agencies are directed to hire from the those on aid pool (in order to get people off aid); giving others who have a bit saved, or have family helping them after the layoff; can not get or even interview for the state jobs. That is what is known as "reverse discrimination". Also, it is why so many english speaking taxpayers have communication problems with state agencies.
