John F. Staudt asks some good questions. Problem John is that city advisory PLANNING COMMISSIONS don't do planning in Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, or Redondo Beach. They are the puppet arms of the City Council who get campaign donations and gifts from developers building the condos and other high density trash. It's all about money, greed, ego. Look around at all the trash that's been built. Everything at one time had some paid person in a Planning Commission saying, "this will be a beautiful addition to the city". Never re-elect anyone on the city council more than one time. The city bureaucrats could probably do better planning than these so called political greed approving "Planning Commissions". They run a property down and then approve garbage while saying this will clean up and improve the blighted area, the blighted area they created to get their high density trash approved.
