If you are looking for a church where everyone considers you like family and where you can go dressed in whatever you are most comfortable without judgements then Nashville Cowboy Church may be the place for you. It is a inter-denominational church that has a church in Goodlettsville on Brick Church Pike called the "Ranch House". On Sunday morning services are held at the Texas Troubadour Theater (next to the Ernest Tubb Record Shop) on Music Valley Drive (shopping center right after Cracker Barrell and Fiddlers Inn on the left) from 10-11:15 a.m. Our Pastors are Dr. Harry Yates and Joanne Cash-Yates (Johnny Cash's sister). Joanne also sings in each service. There is a full country band made up of Nashville musicians. The theme is "Everyone is Welcome" at Cowboy Church. We have guest performers that have included Teh Bellamy Brothers, Jeff Bates, Ricky Lynn Gregg, The Nash Family, Russ Roberts (also our resident "Jesus" for our Easter passion play), George Hamilton IV, Jimmy Fortune, Ben Jones ("Cooter" from TVs "Dukes of Hazzard"), and many others. Nashville Cowboy Church also has "Cowboy Kids Church" for kids ages 4-11 that meets right after the offering and through the sermon so they have a service geared towards their level and Pastor Harry's sister is the teacher.
