I can't believe it's been ten years. I remember that accident like it was yesterday. Miss Alicia, please keep in mind that someone's son, brother, and friend was murdered by your father and his friends. Not only is that family traumatized, but so are the people that witnessed that accident. There was an 18 year old girl right next to Paul's car, she saw their eyes, those eyes will never be forgotten. It is quite disturbing to think that you were what, 3 when this happened? I think maybe you still are 3 after reading your improper grammer. Even so, why in the world have you not sought a mentor, a father figure. You are not the only little girl in this world that has lost thier daddy to stupidity. Be grateful that he is in prison and not home beating you. Do yourself a favor and join the Boys and Girls Club. Go back to school. Feel sorrow for those that lost a loved one because of YOUR FATHER. Feel sorrow for that 18 year old girl that reached across her seat and locked her door instead of getting involved. Feel sorrow for her because she lives every day of her life wondering why she didn't stop what was about to happen. Stop feeling sorry for yourself. Get over the fact that your dad is a loser that will rot in prison for his ungodly acts of stupidity. He wasn't thinking of you when he committed this crime, so why are you giving him your energy. Be a better person than your dad.
....I think you mean "grammar".....

How come when a white person is murdered he is put on a pedstal. I almost laughed when i saw a picture of paul with wings. Your right people have no right to kill however the antonich family do they feel guilty for there part. They wanted justice but on the backs of all native people who had nothing to do with this crime. White people were able to freely be more openly hateful and racist in Duluth for quite a few years then three white guys all on probation raped and killed Doty Olson a mother of five but they were not even charged. Thanks to this Paul guy the whites stayed angry so where is the justice for Doty and her children so thanks to the antonich family for encouraging more hate because of what happened to thier son.
Hey Wanda maybe you should have your facts right about a case before you comment on it, the Doty Olson case, yes she was killed by one man and another one was there, not 3 men, one killed her, it was a robbery gone bad and NO there was not a rape involved and the two men were sentenced to 20 yrs and 36 yrs, so maybe you should get your facts straight. Also this page has nothing to do with that case.
peace be with you

SEVERAL years later, I hope Alicia has grown up (has her own family) and finds it right to remember Paul and his family. They will always deserve prayers and the utmost respect while trudging through absolute evil. The senseless tragedy still haunts me, in particular as someone who always helps those in need. That day after finishing two football practices at UMD I ran to the mall. I was at the intersection a few minutes before. It still crosses my mind how a very capable 22 yr old football player at UMD, son of a Purple Heart Vietnam War Veteran, would just miss the initial assault that day. It may have happened for a reason that I did miss it by minutes, but had I been fortunate enough, I guarantee evil would have known I was there. Most importantly I would love to have met Paul that day. My heart still bleeds while left wondering why I wasn't at that intersection just a few minutes later. In 2016 prayers continue from a far for the family, friends and community.

As a former student of Mrs. Antonich as well, I just want to say that it is so nice people are reaching out and standing up for what was right. I was there for a time when it wans't so easy for her. I will never forget what happened in class when she finally let go. I sat stunned. Now older I realize what must have been going through her head all along. And to that witness, there was nothing you could have done. There would have been 2 tragedies if you have stepped in. The wheels of justice turn slowly but fine. These men will pay for what they did and I am sure the Antonich's appreciate people standing up and telling that disrespectful, loud mouthed child to knock it off. And take Witness' advice, look to the Boys and Girls club or counseling. You DEFINATELY need it
CORRECT, Against all odds(FAITH, CAPABILITY AND STRENGTH)I ask why I was not there a few minutes earlier, as all tragedies would have been right there, 19 yrs later I firmly believe this.
