Hard to argue with idiots. You asked why doesn't CVA play AA Proctor, I point out they did play AA Albany, and you come back with big deal Albany only won one game. Do you know how many games Proctor won? They were 1-9, not sure if I understand your logic?
Maybe if you guys actually put a few section 3 titles on the board, it might be a game worth watching.......

Why do you want to play Herkimer? Why not play
Canajoharie instead? Because Herkimer is a
neighboring school and a rival. I suggested
Proctor because they are the closest AA school
to CVA. It had nothing to do with their record.
What would it prove if CVA beat Herkimer? A
B school should be able to beat a D school
most of the time.
Never said I wanted to play Herkimer, some other person did. Will stick to trying to get better and beating Caz, Oneida, and VVS. Playing Herkimer will not get CVA better, playing non-league games against Chittenango, Westhill, Homer or New Hartford will improve them. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of great athletes and good teams in class C and D, but there is fewer holes on the best teams in the upper levels.

When Herkimer moves back to class C next year, they should play CVA as their non-league game. Time to sort of renew the old Ilion vs. Herkimer rival game.
CVA would most likely win and get Herkimer off their high horse reel fast!

Why would Herkimer play CVA if they move back to
Class C? CVA is a Class B school. Also, there can
be no Herkimer vs. Ilion rivalry; there is no
Ilion! It's time for CVA to find a rival of their
own. P.S. What about the people from Mohawk; who
would they like to play or don't they count?

Well to refresh your memory, Herkimer did play a Class C team as their non-league game, Adirondack, who had one of the worst C records in the area. Herkimer hand picked them to help them get an easy win though. SOOOOO, why couldn't they play CVA next season, up only 1 classification like this year.

Ilion guy-The section assigns you your "non-
league" games. Herkimer doesn't get to hand
pick who they're going to play. Maybe they will
play CVA next year. How does that help CVA play-
ing schools from a lower class? I would think
to improve they would want to play up a class
not down. I guess it's a personal thing about
beating Steele and putting him in his place.
It's really time to move on; there is no more
Ilion team, so there is no more Ilion-Herkimer
rivalry. CVA needs to look ahead and find some-
one else. Play teams in your own class and get
better.

Playing and beating Herkimer would be great fun. Steele being the coach would simply be an added perk. Steele was an average athlete. In his adult year he has lived vicariously through their athletes as some parents do from the stands. I find this behavior entertaining.

To watch Allan win or lose cracks me up. He is the most elated or the most dejected off any person in participation, child or adult.

Listen and listen real close. Don't give me this shit about playing up or down. Herkimer played class d this year and c next year. Herkimer has always been a c school and in no way should they have played class d this year or any year. Class c sucked this year and herkimer would of made it to the sectional finals in c. They had a good team. Don't talk down class d because those teams can and will ompete in class c any f-n year. Give it a rest........

Cva- The classes are determined by your school's
enrollment. Herkimer's enrollment made them a
class "D" this year. If your enrollment goes
up or down enough your classification may
change. It's as simple as that.
