What's the word?

Are the teachers going to work for free because is about the kids? Are the "no's" getting finger printed so they can volunteer their time as teachers aids? Are we cutting Cheering to save 8k against the 1.3million deficit?

What do we got kids? Anything? It's getting close to crunch time.

Jack Noll for school board! He is crafty on raising money.

Herkimer has a big problem and I don't think they have a clue what to do. Don't count on noll, he's good if it you drop a penny or lose a contact because he's close to the ground other than that Herkimer needs some serious help.
How nice

I'm from Herkimer and teach in the Albany area. I watched this merger process run it's course with great interest. I'm afraid the hometown has a problem.

Herkimer screwed themselves. Well really those that cheated and cast fraudulent votes screwed Herkimer over. Now the kids have to continue to suffer. Thanks.

I hope all the "get over it" people & people who claim there's money left on the table to save our schools participate in trying to get it done. It's pretty easy to say stuff like that but can you show up & help without fist pounding? If you can find 1.3 million without cutting the quality of education then call the school and ask to get involved. Don't just sit there with all the answers & do nothing.

This didn't happen over night. This is years of the status quo. The status quo can no longer be maintained, because no one wants to make the tough decisions. Unfortunately the cuts will hit across the board. It's only fair. Once again everybody will have to give a little to achieve the goal. Thank NYS for bailing out on the kids.

You have a interim-superintendent from the outside who definitely does "not" want your job. Tutty has no reason to LIE and he is telling Herkimer all that can be shared among the valley schools to save money is being shared. He is telling you things have been cut to the bone. Click on the picture. http://www.wktv.com/news/local/175487731.html

Personally I can't wait to see what idiot is willing to take the job especially at the reduced pay you losers think is fair. I understand you think 100k is a lot for a Superintendent. Good luck with that.

Where are you going to find 1.3 MILLION dollars in just a few months time? Seriously? LOL I wish I knew the answer to that. And if you by some miracle find it and keep things AS IS (mediocre as that may be but hey enough of you seemed to be fine with that), then where are you going to to find the addition money to fix any shortfall next year and the year after and the year after.....If school knew how to do that, they wouldn't be struggling right now. NYS was willing to help but too many just couldn't bother to at the very least educate themselves on the reality that their school districts were facing. How is any amount of money that they were willing to give us a bad thing? Wouldn't that have been so much better than taking classes, sports, etc from our kids and taking jobs away from the hardworking people that have been there educating YOUR kids?

I can't wait until they try to raise the tax cap.

They're going to need to get Delude on those college kids again and West Little Falls...I mean East Herk to send the children door to door with fliers. Only this time you may need to rub onions in the kids eyes first.

Sure can. Don't even infer that this is snobbery. Can't buy it from people who have to preserve their colors & can't mingle with outside towns.

After you listen to some of these adults, is it any wonder why Herkimer's academic performance is in the bottom 10%?

Speaking of janitors, I understand Mr. Nasypany pulled down over 55k last year mowing lawns and plowing snow. Oh by the way-next time you plow out your driveway with schools plow, do mine too! Must be another perk??? Talk about a waste of money!

I heard Tutty had a meeting of the mindless last nite. A budget study meeting I guess you would call it, with yes and no's attending. Anyone know anything about this?
