I can't remember where Manley's was, but remember going there. My parents were friends with the Manleys. I remember visiting the Manleys when we lived in Florida as they had also moved there. Thought of another restaurant called Chet's.

Does anyone remember Manley's Hot Dog Stand? I remember my Dad taking us there in the 1950s on a warm summer night, but cannot remember where it was located.

It's neat to see "the hot dog lady" still there. I talked to her about 10 years ago and she said she had been in that spot for 22 years.

Don't forget The Rainbow, where Crazy Otto's ;(Empire Diner) is now. I beleive The Emp. Din, used to be where Burger King is.

Thank you for telling about the Manleys and their move to Florida. Did they have a hot dog stand down there?

I can still remember the smell of the hot dogs on those warm summer nights over 50 years ago. Boy, time passes too quickly.

I used to deliver the telegram around Pullman Ave. That included the Wonder Bar. I used to take the trash out for Gus for a coke and a slim jim. Played Zepplin on the jukebox while I was there

OK, I'm on a roll now.

Does anyone else remember Jack Brunner's Gas Station, he was German and used to work on a lot of Volkswagons. He was at State and Protection Ave.

And, who remembers the name of the lumber yard where Galinsky Apt now stands???
