We know we're not Merging because our facilities are poor.

We know we're not Merging for reduced taxes

We not Merging for more state aid

We know the kids won't get a better education with the same teachers who are failing us now.

We know the kids don't want this

We know putting three failing districts we only create one enormous failing district.Which will be paying all the Teachers and Administration more money for doing the exact same failing job they do now.

We must vote with what we know. So lets be honest. The kids and the tax payers gain nothing. The UNION, The TEACHERS and ADMINISTRATION gain everything. VOTE NO Oct. 18th
Facts Please

VOTE YES, It's hope for the future.

Once again the Anti-Merger groups using non-factual, baseless posts to discourage people from vote for the merger.

People, please for the sake of your children, do your own research and don't listen to the emotional rant put forth by the Herkimer Anti-Merger group. This is a group that won't even engage in debate with others to hear all sides.

People are intelligent and will see be able to sort their garbage out from the reality.

To the above poster, please post facts and research to back up your claims!! Oh, thats right, you have none.

Herkimer is fked. They graduate about a third of there kids, well below the state standard and well below the graduation rate of Ilion and Mohawk. Herkimer is in worse financial shape than Ilion. Yet the no voters won't tell you that. Guess what happens when your drop-outs settle back into your community? It fks you again with future state aid and it's only getting worse.

If someone is voting No it's highly likely it's for selfish reasons. Forget the academic opportunities for all, it's about their kid that won't be the star and their inability to let go to the fantasies of glory days past. Over 40yrs old and their profile picture is vote no. They run around wearing school colors while the AARP is sending them mail.

Pro-merger stand by the study and the no's stand by what-if and lies. Please stop by the facebook page. It's embarrassing for the vote no losers.

Mohawk is not worth mentioning.

Studies are not facts they just guesses ofwhat aoutcome could be with bias. Yes, the larger the district the better the pay. If kids have bad teachers now you will have more of them after a merger. Same problems combined together and rammed down everyone's throat. By voting yes three small problems become one large problem. Folks, state aid is only temporary so forget the tax decrease because that is temporary too read your biased studies.

I couldn't agree more! Everyone knows this, the problem is getting these folks out to vote this merger DOWN ! More people seem apathetic and would rather sit on their collective asses and just bitch about it !
Mark my words, if this merger passes, withing 5 years, Superintendent Tangorra (HA-HA) and the new school board will be telling us all that transportation costs are too high (NO SHIT!) and that we need to foot the bill for a brand new, centrally located school. Ya think the State's gonna come across with much help for that project? So who's gonna pay? ya got it...us !
Based on extensive research I sure!! NOT

VOTE YES...Don't fall for the baseless conspiracy theories and the doom and gloom.

VOTE YES...Progress for our kids future.

How did a $45,000.00 grant to study shared services (sharing among the districts to cut costs) turn into a merger with increased costs and threats of peril if we vote no?

Easy, your info is BS. A grant to study sharing doesn't exist.
Nope

Vote YES if the failing current Administration and Teaching staff get removed and start over with new. Not gonna happen? Neither is a YES vote.
