Yetty's is OK, but they keep screwing up our pizzas. I don't know what's the matter with the cook there, he must brain dead.

Every time we get a Yetty's pizza, everything is upside down and bass ackwards, the sauce, the cheese and the toppings all in the wrong order.

So, when I get the pizza home, I open the box with a sense of dread ... oh no, they did it again! It takes 15-20 minutes to scrape off the sauce, layer off the cheese, and pick off all the toppings and put it all back together in the proper order. It's very messy too.

By the time I get done the pizza is cold, so we have to put in the oven and warm it up.

This has happened at least 20 times. I don't know how they can call themselves a pizza place when they keep making the same mistake over and over.

If you get a young guy as a waiter in the sit down restaurant, get up and leave. His service was one of the worst experiences my family has ever encountered.

If you are so dissatisfied why would you continue to go there over 20 additional times? Who's the real dummie?

Food can be good...but avoid the side salad. Just a handful of iceberg lettuce.

You name it, he did it. It took us 20 minutes to be waited on, forgot 1/2 the order, brought over someone else's order, the food arrived stone cold, we had to flag down another waitperson for drinks and then refills, the salads never arrived, the antipasta never arrived, he kept running by our table saying "I'll be right with you" but never did. Some one in our party had to use the rest room and took a by pass to the kitchen where our entire order was sitting under the heat lamps. The only reason we were served -by the take out order taker -was because we asked for the plates under the heat lamps. This painful ordeal took over an hour before the food arrived at the table.

Our family hasn't stepped a foot in there since this occurred in October. Talk about disappointing.

I think Uncle Cracker thinks he's funny or witty. Annoying, obvious, and trying-too-hard never entered his mind.

I think Yettys used to have some of the best pizza around, and happen to love the COB (Cheese on Bottom) style. Unfortunately - as other posters have noted - they've just become too inconsistent over the last few years. We gave them intermittent tries, but never knew what we were going to get and the quality (and even type of preparation) varied so widely that we've given up. Still refuse to mortgage our house to pay Tony's prices (which is unfortunate; they have good pizza but just got too greedy) but thankfully enough other places in the valley to get good pizza that crossing Yetty's off the list is no big thing. If we hear they get more consistent again (which just amounts to better training and supervising staff), we'll be back.

Every single pizza joint around here is inconsistent. I rarely ever order out anymore for this reason. You can not find that one place where you get a good pizza every time you order. But Tony's in my experience is the most consistent. I'll pay a little extra (I'm not sure Tony's really is)for a good Pizza. I say 7 out of every 10 pizzas I get from Tony's is perfect. You know the kind, nice and crispy with the cheese just a little burnt on top. If I'm in the mood for N.Y. style I'll go to Vinny's. Oh, Primo's Joey style is better than Yetti's.

Now, now, UC. Such a hater. Where did that come from? I don't know why you would think I was picking on Calm Cents. I do enjoy his multiple personas (including yours, a recent invention I assume?) on a rare occasion. Don't be a hater. It's just pizza, my friend(s).

BTW, do you think posting under multiple names REQUIRES psychoanalyis? While I'm regrettably not able to provide this service, I'll bet lots of people would love to take a crack at it!(Get it..."Cracker"? Come on, I know you - or Calmn - or Sue - or some woman who moved to the area who recently supposedly lost her husband - or whomever you want to post under next - want to laugh.)

Now maybe back to pizza, or would you like to call me another name? I don't think jerkface or stupid has been used yet.:)

Still need to go to Utica for the best pizza and calzones. most valley people for some unknown reason are afraid to venture to the east side. grew up there, not a worry in the world.
