lol at you people. I work at hannaford and classy, I'm right there with you. I've sprayed stuff right on smelly people before because it sickens me to have to cash out people that make me gag. Also, I'm fed up with rude old people who think the world owes them a living and they can just act any way they want to JUST because they are old. Also, sick of nasty old men who think It''s ok to hit on me and make lude remarks even when I ignore them. I swear some day one of those dirty old men are going to get clocked upside the head with a soup can
i am so turned on right now. how much would i have to pay you to beat me with a soup can? i'm not usually into that sort of thing, but now that you've brought it up.

I too love Hannaford. I willingly spend the extra 20-30 dollars just to get the quality food. The seafood lady, excellent. It says a lot about a store to get only compliments from the people that post on here. Myself included! Keep up the good work!

If it comes in frozen, why would they need to "unthaw" it and freeze it again? Hmmm... Puzzling.

Hannford is definately a great store. You do pay a bit more for things. What's nice is you don't have to deal with the people who (how to put it nicely)go in there on the first of the month only. No screaming kids, no families with 20 people blocking the aisles. It's a great shopping experience. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They play halfway decent tunes to shop by, and they are quick when checking you out.
I used to shop just at Wal Mart but I got sick of that frizzy haired freak with the chapped nostrils always yelling at me for putting my stuff into one bag. Now the only thing i go there for is toiletries and non food items. Hannafords should start selling clothes, and TV's and more DVD's etc... I'd never go back to Wal Mart.

What the hell are YOU talking about?

The poster stated that Walmart's meat was frozen, then unthawed. Unthawed, to me, means frozen.

To thaw something means to make it otherwise not-frozen. Conversely, to un-thaw something, I'd stick it in the freezer so it wasn't thawed anymore.

You and the poster appear to think "unthaw" is something you do to ready frozen meat for use.

That link is simply wrong. When I typed in "thaw", I got the same definitions.
Think about it using another word. Like "clean". We all know what "clean" is. Well, with the exception of those on Main St.
"Unclean" is the opposite of "clean", right?
So why isn't "unthaw" the opposite of "thaw"?

why is it that, in a movie about zombies, the zombies are refered to as undead? in your way of thinking, undead would mean alive. why aren't the zombies refered to as dead, and the living refered to as undead? the point is, i think we all know what "love the legion" meant by unthaw. he is no more stupid for using the word, than we are for argueing about it?

I didn't say it made sense, but that's how Webster's defines it. Lots of things in English don't make sense. You park in a driveway and drive on a parkway, eh.

And don't buy a tent made of inflammable material, it can burst into flames.
