Is it Varsity sports only for this year? Is there freshmen sports? How about Cheering?

With inflation/costofliving, if we get the same money from the state next year or worse what then?

Money wise, I don't see it getting much better and the way it is now is not good.

As for sports I haven't seen the breakdown yet.

Why do you disagree with the above statement and find it clueless?

Is the state finances getting better and only you know?

Make a call we want JV SPORTS back and see what you can do about our graduation rate.

The sky didn't fall. Sports programs weren't used as a hateful weapon, nor were they in Frankfort. Sorry you're disappointed. The only thing that happened that was good,is that retiree's will have to pay a little more from their big FAT pensions. Awwwww.........sniff sniff sniff. VOTE NO ON Prop Two and three. Let the asshool village keep that stinking library. BAWK BAWK BAWK BAWK BAWK

I will vote for the library and against everything else. Sure you have a tax increase and they took a lot from the fund balance. CUT! CUT! CUT! Let the idiots parents who pushed the no vote on the merger come up with the money. How come none of them are running for the board. Just big mouths with no ideas. Sports will be effected based on articles. They start with JV and watch what is next. No the retirees won't pay more their pensions, Chicken Little ..you are WRONG. Only the new employees will pay longer into theirs. No big deal but doesn't save much for NOW! Herkimer missed the bus and it has left the station. Ilion will probably charge tuition if you want to send your kids there. Herkimer is sliding into the pits..no far from the bottom.

Who the fk are you talking to, yourself??? Who's disappointed except the kid sitting in 3 studyhalls, lunch, gym and not playing on the sports teams that are still unavailable to them.

What is it that you're proud of?

I'M VOTING AGAINST ANY AND ALL INCREASES IN TAXES. Luv you sweetheart...sniffsniffbawkbaw k :-)

Have you ever been inside a library? If you think a kindle takes the place of a bricks and mortar library, your wrong. We need a public library and I will vote yes. It would be great if the college library was more of a community library, but that won't happen until the leadership changes. If that was available and welcoming to our community, Basloe might not be needed. But current leadership up there doesn't care about the village.

I think the parents who worked so hard to defeat the merger plans, should carry the load on the school. Let them open their pocketbooks and pay for all the extras.

If you actually go inside, you will see students of all ages, a lot of families, and a lot of working folks, especially with all of the government facilities around here employing lots of people. The staff will go out of their way to help you. Not everything and everyone is on the Internet. There is no other community space like it. I'm there almost every day and yes, I work. The money needed amounts to about $1.15 on the average household, and since school district residents are already paying a district tax on the library, the increase is less than a buck a week. Go inside the library and look around, then borrow some books, magazines, ebooks, DVDs ,and audiobooks instead of purchasing them and get your money back in one visit! Its that easy. The library is one of the nicest things in this stupid village. How 'bout we not kill it?

Let the village keep their albatross. What could be worse timing? When we supposedly have all these budget constraints.Which is the lie? We have the money or We don't have the money?

The Village wants to broaden the tax base to the town on the library. Which will help raise taxes on all those people who voted NO on the merge. This is that idiot Stephanabalah's idea, he's on the village board. The Bastard School board is at it again. First they wanted to beat us with the sports, that didn't work. Now they want to beat us with the library. We already have a school Library asshools, end this nonsense.

Voting no will not kill the library. Why are you fear-mongering everyone into voting yes.'Save the library, vote yes'. Or 'if you vote no you will kill the library'. Bullcrap. If you vote no the library will still be around. It just won't open as early. So go an hour later. Big deal. Read 30 magazines instead of 35. Borrow a 1 year old movie instead of a free new release. So what! Vote NO!

You need 60% yes to pass anything over a 2% tax increase. Am i close?

I'm voting no, so you'll need to bring a friend if you want it to pass :-).

There is more to the tax cap than that. You have oversimplified it tremendously.
