Burrito Jonz:

MANAGER In-Training Job(s):

You must learn all aspects of the store and LEAD BY EXAMPLE. You must have some sort of food prep experience and a sense of URGENCY.

Manager of fast food restaurant or Cafe a plus but not needed, but you must have food prep skills that are fast. A Leadership role in the Military is also a plus.

You must have verifiable references to your work & character. You must be Hard-Working, Honest, and Professional.

You will need to help clean the store during operational hours and make sure all operational & shutdown procedures are followed by other employees under your charge.

You must be willing to work for minimum wage until you master the leadership position by knowing how to make and cook all food items perfectly.

This will show me you NEED & WANT a serious job.

It should not take you more than 21-30 days to learn everything. After 30 days your wage will jump to $9. Then after another 30 days you will be bumped to $10 then $11 then $12.

After this, you will share in the profits if specific sales numbers are hit. Do not apply if you are not completely squared away.

Gee that's funny, I saw an ad much like that one on Craigslist nine months ago and I applied and met the owner and was hired "in principle."

I was given a START DATE that I prepared for and in fact stopped looking for other work which cost me money and opportunity because guess what...

-- the SOB never opened like he said he was going to and when I called him to ask what the heck was going on he never even called me back !!!!

F you Burrito Jonz !!!!

Hard-Ass Bastard to work for, judging by the wording of that employment ad I also saw on Craigslist a little while ago. Okay, John, you're looking for a "Manager" for your new restaurant yet you're only willing to pay this person MINIMUM WAGE to start???? With NO guarantees of actually getting those raises in pay you mentioned. And you want someone with experience, a sense of urgency, hard-working, a LEADER by example and ex-military a plus, with honesty, professional, verifiable references and a good character to boot???? WOW!!! YOU WANT/EXPECT SO MUCH OUT OF THIS PERSON YET YOU WANT TO PAY HIM/HER A WAGE NOBODY CAN SURVIVE ON IN THIS DAY AND AGE UNLESS THEY ARE STILL LIVING WITH THEIR PARENTS!!??? Good Luck, Pal!

Winters keeps placing those employment ads on Craigslist every so many months in order to string along Nick Macri and those Herkimer Village and IDA officials who were involved in getting Winters his IDA grant and village loan monies. He's trying to give the impression that things are moving right along on that corner when in fact, they are moving at a crippled drunken snail's pace, if at all. For such a DINKY restaurant, it's unbelievable how long it is taking him to get the place open for business.

This train wreck of a business/plan would be an excellent case study for any college business student on how not to run/open a business. You can't make this stuff up.
