I see the Herkimer high school is in financial hurt....since the owner of Tonya pizza put up tons of money to stop the merger, shouldn't he help pay some of the budget deficit? Herkimer could be in good shape with extra athletic options for the children. THANKS BILL

Thanks Bill is right. Thanks Bill for helping keep our school a local school. Thanks Bill for keeping the community strong with its own school system. Thanks Bill for fighting for our school when many did not have the heart to fight for it even though they are glad it stayed part of our community. Thanks Bill. And thanks for having the best Pizza around. I am a customer for life now. Thanks again Bill.

Oh one more thing. With the extra school aid passed by the state today we'll be fine. Mohawk may have been OK too if they had been able to wait out the tough times. But we'll never know, will we.

What a fkin joke.

Yeah your school is back to where it was 25yrs ago, your village is in great shape, Main St. is beautiful and National Grid loves you. Keep talking. There's nothing like a comedy skit.

Thanks for having the highest tax in the county. I now have to consider selling my home of 20 years because school taxes are so high .

Then go live somewhere else. Go live where it takes 30 minutes or more for emergency services to get to your house. Go live where it takes 20 minutes to get to the store. Go where it takes an hour to get back from the DMV, post office or bank. Go where you don't know your neighbors. Go where there is no school, or where the school needs a metal detector for everyone to get into. So we are not the best school, or the best town, or the cheapest. But all in all it's really not a bad place to live. We actually have it pretty good. Now stop being a crybaby. Leave if you want to, stay if you want to. But stop crying about it.
