I routinely pee in my own bathroom wash basin (sink) for several reasons:

1) It saves water, even though the tap is running during and briefly after peeing

2) It is cleaner, with no splash on or around the toilet

3) It's set at the correct height (unlike a toilet)

4) It allows a quick wash down after peeing

5) I don't have a urinal

... but most important of all...

6) I don't have a moaning b*tch to tell me what I can and can't do in my own home

Well despite the fact of this, It's actually fun. I'm a girl who's 15 n I still pee in the bathroom sink without my parents seeing it. It's so much fun n I get to enjoy it. I'm sure this guy's normal. Talking abt urinating, I can't wait to get married n pee near the penis area of my man. Even if u were telling me to stop, I wouldn't do that.

I am a 32 year old male sink-pisser and tonight I compelled to do a quick Google search to see if anyone else does it too. Apparently it is REALLY common. As of now (1/27/2013) 41% of people polled claim to pee in the sink "almost always."
To me it just makes SENSE. There is simply no point at all in peeing in the toilet and flushing every time. Bear in mind that when I talk about peeing in the sink, I mean the bathroom sink and not the kitchen sink. I have no problem with peeing in the kitchen sink but unless you live alone there's privacy issues.
For me, smell has never been a problem. The only time I ever pee in the toilet is when I'm taking a dump. I pee in the bathroom sink several times a day and have never once noticed an odor. The pee is never in the pipes long enough to get funky due to hand washing and brushing teeth. Pee is sterile so I don't understand why people are so grossed out by this. Why is it that peeing in a toilet is "normal" yet peeing in a sink isn't? It makes no sense.
Peeing in the sink saves money, saves water, and is socially responsible for reasons others have already stated. Dropping your toothbrush in the sink is nothing to worry about, so stop freaking! It takes a whole 2 seconds to rinse it off if you're THAT worried about it. NOT peeing in the sink as a man tall enough to reach it just makes sense.

If you create the ruse of brushing your teeth or combing your hair over the sink, relatives can walk in on you without ever realising your dangling your junk in the sink and releiving thee.

Here is how you cure that problem:
Next time he is all roused up and ready for fun, tell him to wait a minute...make it a LONG minute, so he eventually follows you into the
room, THE BATHROOM.
Hoist up your junk in th
e trunk and sit on the
bathroom sink ready to let loose.
I guarantee, it will kill the moment, and END his pee pee problem. ha ha ha ha...
I call it the "right back at cha!"
peeing in the sink is actully very comon in males, the reason men pee in the sink is, when you pee in the toilet it makes noise and beleive it or not the sound makes it hard to pee for some men. and men think it feminine to pee sitting down, so a lot of men pee in the sink, you dont have to be weird or crazy. its common if you have a sink peeing man instead of ridiculeing, simply buy a upright urinal for the bathroom, men are used to peeing in them and it will cure a sink pisser.

<quoted text>Seriously? I brought the poll to his attention and he just seemed so appalled!!! I yelled at him that the sink is less than a foot away (just in case he was lying)
Once a day at least?(#3) Seriously????
Also, doesn't that hurt?(#1) to bend it backwards and all? otherwise I'd think there'd be quite a mess.
Lastly, Rocky do you mean you sit 'in' the sink to pee? My sink is quite small, but it could be the reason it is so loose all of the time whereas it should be attached to the wall but now, not so much.
Thanks for the enlightening words of wisdom. I find you creatures weird yet fascinating.
The reason it is loose is probally case he is washing his ass in the sink after a shit.

how about in the shower? some people think this is terrible. thoughts?
To me its like this ,if I am about to take a shower and have to pee ,I sometimes pee in the shower its easier; and why waste all that water ,if you are going to shower.I also try to deficate before I take a shower, that way I can clean my behind and keep a clean behind all day.I am not one to all of the sudden, open up the curtain and pee in the shower for the heck of it,that is what the sink is for lol.The only time I would pee in the shower ,not before I took one,was when I was younger and on occasion wake up with a boner or half a boner and I just could not make the toilet.

just rinse the brush in warm water and put some Listerine on it.Will kill most of the germs and bacteria. If its your own bottle of Listerine, use the cap fill it halfway(you don't need a lot) and dip the toothbrush before you use ,will kill many bacteria and then when you finish brushing tip the brush again and rinse and gargle your mouth with it.Oh and to avoid bad breath brush your tongue, really helps.

I am lucky I am a tall guy so I have no problem reaching the sink, but its like this: its in the aim ,if you are going to pee in the sink aim for the sink hole,if it has a cover right under the cover where the water usually drians ,after you finish the advantage is you can dabb some water on your uretheral opening(pee hole) instead of using paper and then grab some water in the cup of your hand and in a clockwise motion quiclky go around the sink to leave it clean.Expert sink peeer

thank you Vincent B for your thoughtful reply
Here in the Mohawk Valley we are the sink-pissing capital of the world.
When people around the world like you from Missouri Google "pee in the sink" or a simliar phrase this thread is the #1 result that Google returns
this has not gone unnoticed by local entrepreneurs who are putting together plans to market the Mohawk Valley as the Sink-Pissing Capital of the World.
with the support of my organization www.herkimernow.org , local businessmen are now securing financing to build an interactive "Pee in the Sink" establishment that will attract sink urinators from around the world
thank you for peeing in the sink
If they were good marketers they would be promoting home urinals
