Remember when Whistle Stop tried to become a dance club.? I can't remember what it was called then. The owner painted it all up on the inside.
I remember the owners daughter and still see her around town. She's a story within itself.

I remember the early 1980's Palmer House free (draft) beer for an hour then .96 WOUR concert (It was actually $1.00). How cheap everything was back then...Large Pizza Quinto's, Brian's or Stuffed Shirts under $5.00 and large sub $2.00

early 80s, Thursday nights at the Rustic -- 3 drafts for a buck!

what about after hours grub? Burger King used to be open til 4 a.m. and would be packed.

Empire Diner and HoJos too. If you got to HoJos before 2 a.m. you could get a beer with your omelette and home fries LOL

She was trampy back then and from what I hear from my daughter she still is. Even my ex slept with her back then. Now I hear from my daughter that her mulatto daughter is taking after her.

I find it funny no one mentioned Silverados. Not like I liked it, but it has been a staple forever.

Silverado was called the Rustic in the 80s and the Rustic was mentioned. Not sure when the name changed to Silverado...? I know it had a change of owners.

Unfortunately, that place has evolved little from the 80s. They still had old-school CRT TVs last time we stopped in! LOL

well her daughrer isn't mulatto, she just kinda looks it, but we should leave the kids out of it. doesn't stop the mom from being a tramp though, i agrre with you on that. just because someone can teach at a college, doesnt make them a standout out person. i am not gunna name names, but us women talk and we know who can or cannot be trusted.
