Must be they just don't like you. I've never had any issues with the employees at Lowe's. Usually they are friendly and courteous.

No,for the most part they are pretty good,at least out on the floor.Up front they need a little more discilpine, and attention to the customers. At nite it is hard to find people that really know about certain things. As a whole they probably deserve a passing grade. For you useless ones reading this, the customer is aware of your incopetence.Don't use Rachel's name again, that's wrong.

I was in Lowes this morning and was not only greeted at the door by a Lowes employee but was asked what I was looking for. She flagged down another employee who was walking past us and had him show me the product I was looking for. You think I'll go back to Lowes? You betcha.

The employees at LOWES are ever changing, the good ones are leaving and the news ones just don't care. Truth be told, new management came in a couple of years ago and the store has went down hill ever since. Store manager completely in the dark while lower level managers are creating problems.

Couple of years, hasn't it only been open for three at least? I like the manager that looks like a balding zombie muppet, he walks around like he must have been a hell of a high school football player, then never it was all down hill.

lowes is the walmart of lumber stores. you're expecting too much. you wouldn't expect a walmart employee to know too much about walmart products, you shouldn't expect a lowes employee to know too much about lowes products. if you want to talk to someone who knows about building products, go to a real lumber store. there's a lot of them around. little falls lumber. jay-k lumber, ilion lumber, etc. there is at least 10 more within 25 miles of herkimer.

The store has been there, goin on it's fourth year. The original management team is long gone. They went from trying to hire qualified people to now hiring anyone off the street. They didn't want to pay the people with knowledge a fair wage so they went with a bunch of minimum wage workers.
In the past year and a half new managers came in and it seems they were looking for any reason to get rid of a seasoned employee and replace with a minimum wage employee. Up front, if you are not part of the click, the middle manager and her croonies try to find ways to get rid of you.
This store, in four short years, has went from being one of the top in service to one of the below average. Upper management has their heads in the sand and are ignorant of what goes on around them.
Many of the better workers have transfered to other stores.

So it is EXACTLY like any of the other stores in the chain then.

Don't forget George Lumber, i generally hit Collis if I can get a parking spot and have the time, I love that you can actually get something besides a blank stare there. To be fair, the front end personnel are not trained to do anything except take your money. All the other positions offer training so it is essentially up to the employee.

yeah, parking is in really short supply in downtown Herkimer.

sometimes I have to drive around 20 minutes before FINALLY I spot a parked vehicle about to pull out from a space ... and hopefully none of the others of dozens, even hundreds of vehicles, vying for a parking spot to shop Main Street have angled out in front of me!

Hopefully the Village Board will be looking into constructing a parking garage in downtown to alleviate the parking crisis.

That's right fuckstick, there are never times, say in the middle of the business day when it would be very inconvenient to walk more than half a block while dodging dumbasses behind the wheel with ones arms laden with home improvement supplies. I get that my statement may have seemed silly at first, but not enough to require your typical, nut licking reaction. I told you before, if you really want to fuck me as badly as your PM's suggest, we can hook up at Knight's Inn.

I'm pretty sure I saw the old little falls basketball coach working there. Cant remember his name but I heard he got fired for screwing around with a student and now he works at Lowes. Talk about hiring creeps.
