Go watch the Welfarians and Pee-Pee Touchers scurry like cockroaches. But have no fear...your tax dollars will have them in a new place of residence within 24 hours.

It was the building the college kids live in. They probably don't know how to boil water and started a fire.

It looks like the 3rd floor and it is sealed off with yellow police tape. College kids lived there. Too much drinking and partying perhaps? It now looks like crap.

With the multiple municipal response those who favor a consolidated regional fire department seem to have strengthened their position.

Dumbass, if they were a volunteer fire dept. half of Main Street would have burned by the time enough volunteers got there to put it out.

gfus u know nothing of what ur talking about...Ninety percent of the Nation's volunteer fire departments protect communities of less than 10,000 population. Since 1975, the VFA Program has helped to provide equipment, training, and organizational assistance to over 60,000 volunteer fire departments. The program has a proud track record. Since its humble beginnings, Congress has funded VFA at about $3.5 million annually. Go volunteer....The only thing a hfd who is paid by us taxpayers is thing about, is his 2nd and 3rd jobs.. now thats a fact

It is more like you know nothing of what you are talking about. Your uneducated attempt at a reply is pathetic. I've seen 2nd graders form better sentences than you.

Yeah, perhaps if you checked with homeowner's insurance, people get better rates when they live in areas with full time PAID fire departments. Reason why? Because they are more reliable to get to a scene and put out a fire, thus minimizing risk of loss.
