WHY DO they TAKE THIS POST DOWN on topix? It's for the same reason you voted no...you're not thinking. Club money is money well spent.
You're not embarrassing the advisors. You're embarrassing the kids.
The clubs recognized above give a feeling of worth to many students who are often laughed at or bullied. These clubs provide students who may never otherwise feel they fit-in with extra one on one interaction with adults and fellow students with like interests. These clubs provide that allusive feeling of self-worth and achievement to that student who is frequently overlooked.
To cut the above would adversely effect many more students than cutting sports.
