The consensus was that large merges don't benefit the education of the student. Quite the contrary. Although you may have solved the money issue temporarily with the merge. The under lying problem still existed and still exists. How was merging three districts going to make better educators out of our Teachers? I'll spell it out for you in crayon. If I have three piles of crap, and shovel them all together, do I not have a larger pile of crap? Do they smell less because its now one pile? The only positive result would be. Right fkhead. Would your kid have a more rounded education with more study halls or with more elective opportunities? More information, more intellectual back and forth equals a better student.

"Temporary money" that would give us 15 to 20 years to figure things out. If the money runs out and we have no answers the worse case scenario is we have a more efficient educational system at the same cost.
