Are you people kidding? She was stealing less per year than a practice that size likely pays in malpractice insurance. It could easily be missed if they trusted her.

It was $600,000 over 5 years.$120,000 per year? Do the embittered unsuccessful people on this board have any idea the amount of overhead these doctors pay? If you are jealous(and it is obvious some are), get off the barstool and get their level of education.

And finally, of course the hubby knew. We are talking about a retired local cop and an office manager. It is inconceivable that an EXTRA $10,000 per month could be brought into the household and not recognize it.

All they will have to do is go to the house, talk to neighbors, family, etc and SEE all of the toys, etc that has been purchased. Can't prove a thing and she will be let free of this all once done. NO PROOF she did anything or took anything; she plead not guilty and that's that. If she was guilty she would have said guilty now wouldn't she? You are sooooo dumb. They will have to come up with an exact figure that was not counted for and I doubt it was 600K. 600K goes a long way in this valley and there is no way she would have been that stupid to take monies and have it be traced back to her. The docs prob let her spend once in awhile with their money and being that she did not sleep with the docs made them made to start all of this on her. There will be more to this story as time goes on on what really went on I am sure of it.

What do you mean they can't prove it?!! They said that she used the credit cards and wrote checks to herself. That is easily proven. There is a paper trail that will absolutely convict her.

She would not have been "stupid enough" to take the money and have it tracked back to her? Here is a hint. There are 60,000 people in NY stupid enough to do such things. They are called "inmates", which she (and possibly her hubby) will also be called soon.

They will be forced to account for every major purchase (cars, house, vacations, RV, snowmobiles, horses, etc.). wrong again...nobody can prove that she actually was the one using checks and credit cards. Someone may have used her name and was able to take the checks and cards to use for themselves in her name without her knowing it. No proof... the stuff she may have received was all gifts from other people who may live out of state and has no contact with her. the doctors may have been giving her gifts and want to sleep with her and she can say that it was all given to her by the doctors if they slept with her and the gifts were everything that she received above and beyond her means. She can now really give it to the doctors if she chose to and reviel what really went on there behind everyones back.
