Yes they do. Note how that hasn't been posted in any of the news stories. Note no mention of any charges pending against anyone. DA and sheriff covering up for their own.

This story calls out that they're both with the Sheriff's Department.

FRANKFORT, HERKIMER CO.-- State Police are investigating a domestic dispute in Herkimer County that left a couple seriously hurt. Both are jail deputies in the Herkimer County Sheriff’s Department.

Police were called to a home at 482 Joslin Hill Road in the Town of Frankfort around 9:15 p.m. Sunday. When they got there, police found 55-year-old Gail White with severe head trauma. Police say her husband 56-year-old John White attacked her, leaving her with a broken nose, broken jaw and bleeding in the head. Police say John White then shot himself in the face.

The OD makes no mention of them being sheriff's deputies and is completely unclear on the gunfire involved... saying they suffered "separate gunshot wounds" ... meaning he shot her too?

Even though the OD story contradicts all the other news about this it hasn't been updated for more than 24 hours. In fact none of the stories have been. Unbelievable.
