1)"Awarded"? This is money that we, the taxpayers have already paid. Got to love how Albany spin the words around to make it sound like they are giving us peons a little bonus. 2) How much more money is the government and the taxpayers going to throw at these never ending programs that do nothing? Force the people that live in these neighborhoods to follow the building codes and to take care/pride in where they live and not depend on others to clean up their mess. There have been billions of tax dollars flushed down the rat hole for over 50 years with no results and the government thinks wasting more money is the answer. Does anyone wonder why this country is becoming a third world cesspool?

Not an award but a reward for being lazy and not wanting to contribute to society but live off society for life. Then we have companies moving out of NYS because of high taxes, Thruway tolls, high taxes on gas at the pump and all the rest. This state is runing the companies and job out and keeping the lazy in. How long can it last?

"Force the people that live in these neighborhoods to follow the building codes and to take care/pride in where they live and not depend on others to clean up their mess."

That is why we have Clean Sweep. To clean up others garbage because they are to lazy to take care of themselves.

Urban renewal? Get new trash get new trash get new trash. Who cares the government owes it to you and its not yours. Poor people that did not graduate from high school have no ambition and can not work. Lest help em out and clean there streets and keep in in new housing.
