Where do you go to put an app in to work at the prison? Some people say is hard to get on and other's say its not. So which one is it? Do you have to have a good clean background? I got a DUI over 12 years ago and I have gotton my licences back and havent been in trouble sence. If anyone has any info on how to get on up there please post it on here. Id love to have a good job to support me and my family. Its seems like either our grandfather, dads r uncle have worked there in some point in their life's and I think I would like to try it myself.

I hear they take ALL kinds of people to be guards. Even the kind that strip searched an inmate on a sidewalk in BROAD DAYLIGHT, among other things...

Neither!I think we should go ahead and carry out the death penalty w/i 1 month and more murderers should be given the death penalty, like Susan Smith who ran her two little boys off in the river while in their car seat.Too much money is wasted on trials and appeals, attorneys, and for them to be housed. They complain about their food, the phone limitations, clothing,no weights to work with and everything else. They speak about THEIR rights and are allowed to abuse the staff by throwing body fluids on them, calling them names. They act uncivillized so why not allow them to live in an enviroment that fits their personality?I think the Brushy prison should be reopened.

Why not let's just get out the hangman's noose and gear up the firing squad most inmate's are non-violent drug offenders persecuted for their lifestyle choices. Education not incarceration. If are country put as much time revamping their ridiculous drug policies and allowed for a few more civil liberties we might not see prisons filled to capacity or lives ruined for a few poor choices. Sure murderers thieves and perverts deserve what they get but drug addicts petty criminals or drunks need to get help not warehoused in some prison, in Wartburg or otherwise...
